July 2012 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to Wikipedia. However, please know that editors do not own articles and should respect the work of their fellow contributors on A. J. Lee. If you create or edit an article, know that others are free to change its content. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. The rules are stated clearly; the sources are in no way considered okay. If you believe they should be reconsidered I recommend bringing the topic to discussion either there or at the main project. Papacha (talk) 21:50, 3 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

I don't intend to come off as cross, but I'm not fighting you. There's no argument, the majority of the refs ARE bad. Really quite a bit more could be removed as "Lords of Pain" is mentioned in specific as a serious no-no; folks have just been too lazy to get off their duff and address it (worse yet, cut). I'm happy to help you, should there be certain things you'd like me to assist in. Maybe patching up some of those LoP refs? Papacha (talk) 22:16, 3 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Reason edit

Simply put, the sources you are trying to bring back suck and do not name the moves or the entrance themes they claim to name. If you can't come up with better sources I will also keep removing them in the future.TheFBH (talk) 03:07, 6 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

New edit

As far as I know, birthdates from Europe are written as; 25 June 1977 and so on. Didn't mean to vandalize the article, just trying to do the right thing. I apologize if I'm wrong, and won't edit it anymore. But despite your claims, I've never intentionally vandalized on Wikipedia, and would like you to prove otherwise. Also, Layla told a fan through her official twitter that she was turning 35 per the source listed. Daren420c (talk) 06:19, 6 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Thank you edit

Thank you for the barnstar you awarded me. I have been looking at your edits and I would like to offer some suggestions as to how you can improve them. When you want to add content, they must be backed by a reliable source detailing that "X has happened". The list of reliable sources is here. That will help you. The best one is generally pwtorch, and for wrestling moves you can also use pwinsider. We don't accept wrestlingattitude, bleacherreport, lordsofpain etc. If you use those unreliable sources, the information can be removed. Also, when you add info to a wrestlers' bio, you should not add what we term "week-by-week" events. These events (for example Kelly Kelly losing to Beth Phoenix on May 21) are more of one-off events and not important to Kelly's overall career, therefore they are determined as week-by-week and are not supposed to be included in the article. If you need clarifications, you can always contact me for help. Starship.paint (talk) 11:21, 7 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

CM Punk edit

No clue as to why, but Bastista1's been busy reverting the article all day. Tried to talk it over earlier this morning and got no response. Rolled back to my earlier version of the page, just wanted to notify you so I didn't undermine your work. Try to keep an eye on it if you can, he just returned from a revert war and seems to be hankering to start one again. Papacha (talk) 23:38, 25 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Rosita edit

Per Wiki policy ALL moves need more than one usage sourced to establish that they are in fact signature moves and not just moves done once. The stuff about Anarquia, Hernandez and the TNA World Tag Team Title has nothing to do with Rosita and doesn't belong there. Until she returns to TV as a singles wrestler, her singles career hasn't started.Ribbon Salminen (talk) 21:36, 3 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Maybe she comes back still teaming with Sarita or maybe she joins Chavo and Hernandez. Until she comes back her singles career hasn't started. All those moves have only one source. If she's used them so many times, it shouldn't be a problem to find more sources for them.Ribbon Salminen (talk) 21:44, 3 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
That's not how Wikipedia works. FIRST you find sources and THEN you can add them.Ribbon Salminen (talk) 21:50, 3 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Commons name edit

PWI rankings~ edit

Please stop. It's been related to you that only the top performance is valid for inclusion. Unless you bring the merits for doing it all in sum up for discussion and new consensus is reached please don't add them again. Thanks. Papacha (talk) 10:50, 7 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

August 2012 edit

Your recent editing history at Eve Torres shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. You need to discuss the disputed content on the article Talk page rather than edit warring. Bbb23 (talk) 14:36, 16 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

File:TarynDebuts.png listed for deletion edit

A file that you uploaded or altered, File:TarynDebuts.png, has been listed at Wikipedia:Files for deletion. Please see the discussion to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. Taryn Terrell edit

Wrestlescoop is nowhere near a reliable source. WrestleView is, but moves need more than one usage sourced to establish that they are signature moves. And those are not accomplishments and if another Wiki page lists them as such, they should be removed from there as well.Ribbon Salminen (talk) 15:59, 18 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Give me an exact quote from the sources where it mentions an "aided sunset flip". Back elbow, inside cradle and mounted punches are out since there's only one source for them (back elbow has two for the same episode so that doesn't count).Ribbon Salminen (talk) 16:40, 19 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Use the country of origin's ending, not other markets' alternates edit

Hello, I'm C.Fred. Your recent edit to the page Total Drama World Tour appears to have added incorrect information, so I removed it for now. If you believe the information was correct, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. —C.Fred (talk) 21:20, 26 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Question edit

I like what you did on the Template:WWE personnel, but you made mistakes. Here's a few: 1. AJ Lee, Akasana, Cameron and Naomi are On-air talent, not actively in-ring Divas. 2.Primo and Epico are not called the Latin Freebirds. 3. Curt Hawkins and Tyler Reks broke up when Tyler Reks retired. 4. International Airstike is an active tag team in WWE. 5. Jerry Lawler comes before Jim Ross. 6. Brad Maddox is back in NXT Wrestling. 7. Leakee is now Roman Reigns. 8. Unassigned employees must have their real names, not their old ring names. and 9. There are more WWE legends making appearances with WWE. I've fixed the errors. Hope you understand.--Mikeymike2001 (talk) 21:53, 10 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

photos edit

Please, don't upload photos with copyright. They'll be deleted. Thanks --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 19:10, 15 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Of course. For example, you can take a photo inside a ring and your photos have the WWE logo. Also, a lot of them look like a tv capture. I saw that people like MickeyMike or Ribbon revert your editions. Also, the weekly matches aren't relevant. Please, stop or we'll banned you. --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 20:11, 15 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

September 2012 edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for violating copyright policy by copying text or images into Wikipedia from another source without verifying permission. You have been previously warned that this is against policy, but have persisted. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Beeblebrox (talk) 20:56, 15 September 2012 (UTC)Reply
I am willing to consider the possibility that this is all a mistake and you do not understand how copyright works. You clearly identify your images as having been created with a snipping tool, meaning you did not photograph these persons but rather created the images by snipping screenshots. You can do that for your own use all day long and nobody will mind, but you can't post them to Wikipedia, the images are owned by WWE and/or the network that broadcast these events, not you. Beeblebrox (talk) 20:59, 15 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

It is not the job of administrators to oversee your actions. If you are unable to understand and abide by the copyright policy, then you will not be uploading photos. Please read through the copyright policy and respond to Dennis's question below. Hersfold (t/a/c) 02:27, 16 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

  • I think it is necessary to understand where you are at here, and if you understand enough to reasonably participate. I will leave to another admin to interpret, but I feel someone needs to ask a question or three. In your own words, can you please explain how you would define copyright infringement? • Noting for the record that the day after this account was blocked User:Miss Glamorous suddenly became active again. I have blocked that account as a fairly obvious sockpuppet. Beeblebrox (talk) 00:53, 12 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
