Our regional group is engaged in a strategic planning process to sharpen our strategy for the next three years, and we would like your input. Ownership dispute edit
I noticed your comments at Project film. I was going to add a comment there but changed my mind and thought it would be better to comment to you directly instead.
That person has a track record of deleting first and not bothering to asking questions later. Their unwillingness to use {{Citation needed}} instead of deleting was infuriating (especially where the text was sourced but didn't happen to have an inline reference repeated in a particular paragraph [diff]). They make huge changes to an article in very large edits. They edit like a bull in a china shop. Consider yourself lucky it is an article they have decide to add to rather than delete from. They have a talent for interpreting rules in ways you might not expect. You can bet though that they will skate just enough inside the rules and make only minimal changes to their behavior, don't expect the admins to do much about it, this is not a new pattern of behavior.

- I completely agree, thank you for seeing my side. Most of the edits I made on Falling from Grace (film), were non-constroversial and done in good faith. To have that person constantly revert any edit from anyone to keep the article to their satisfaction, I could not sit back and let it happen. Which is why I asked for a third party to be involved. - Normally I'd ask for help at WP:3RD but that is more useful for settling small specific matters, not a larger ongoing difficulties. If you think he is misunderstanding guidelines related to WP:MOSFILM by excessively strict interpretations then it might be worth asking again at WP:MOSFILM but again, that only works for more specific problems. Their refusal to understand how Plot sections work is especially galling, you might bring that back to WP:MOSFILM I suppose. (They understand WP:SOURCEACCESS well enough when it suits their own purposes.) They would probably go so far as to ask for sources to prove the sky is blue WP:BLUESKY then complain that is only an essay not a rule and keep doing it.
- Those hidden comments <!-- exhausted --> feel like just another part of WP:OWN. That user did not listen to the reasonable suggestion that hidden comments should be used sparingly (WP:HIDDEN), and only to to mark the few references where there was still potentially more information that other editors could make more use of, instead of labelling all the sources they believed had been "exhausted". Their behavior is exhausting.
- Others had difficulty too, just look at their talk page archives (like this: User_talk:Fourthords/Archive_13#Deletions_again) which indirectly resulted in huge discussions like this: Wikipedia_talk:Verifiability#BURDEN_and_the_removal_of_tagged_content but I don't think much ever came from it, their difficult behavior seems to fall within the rules, from a certain point of view. In my opinion it comes back to WP:PRESERVE and WP:GOODFAITH, and WP:OWN is a symptom of the larger problem. Hopefully you can slog your way through to some kind of solution.
