October 2019 edit

Hello, I'm Peaceray. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Pope John XXIII, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Peaceray (talk) 03:52, 1 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Peaceray. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Pope John XXIII seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Peaceray (talk) 03:53, 1 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

Pronunciations edit

Hello. The way you are doing pronunciations is contrary to our manual of style, and some of the interlanguage pronunciations are not exactly accurate. Please see MOS:PRON for how to properly add pronunciation info. Thank you, Vermont (talk) 06:49, 6 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

October 2019 edit

Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that you recently added commentary to an article, Go back where you came from. While Wikipedia welcomes editors' opinions on an article and how it could be changed, these comments are more appropriate for the article's accompanying talk page. If you post your comments there, other editors working on the same article will notice and respond to them, and your comments will not disrupt the flow of the article. However, keep in mind that even on the talk page of an article, you should limit your discussion to improving the article. Article talk pages are not the place to discuss opinions of the subject of articles, nor are such pages a forum. Thank you. Doug Weller talk 08:50, 16 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

November 2019 edit

Hello. Some of your recent genre changes, such as the one you made to Carnival of Souls: The Final Sessions, have conflicted with our neutral point of view and verifiability policies. While we invite all users to contribute constructively to Wikipedia, we urge all editors to provide reliable sources for edits made. When others disagree, we recommend you seek consensus for certain edits by discussing the matter on the article's talk page. Thank you. Robvanvee 03:59, 1 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Please stop adding unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did on Forever (Kiss song). This violates Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. - FlightTime Phone (open channel) 21:59, 16 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

December 2019 edit

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. SharabSalam (talk) 12:47, 7 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

Dispute resolution edit

Regarding your question here, it is not sufficient to "ping" them in the DRN page. At the top of the WP:DRN page, you will see in the fourth bullet point

  • "Ensure that you deliver a notice to each person you add to the case filing by leaving a notice on their user talk page. ... Giving notice on the article talk page in dispute or relying on linking their names here will not suffice."

Talk:Ian Smith edit

It seems that you have given your !vote twice at Talk:Ian Smith#RfC:Regarding the introduction. That is not allowed. Please strike out one of them, see WP:REDACT. --T*U (talk) 16:55, 15 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
