You have been temporarily blocked from editing Wikipedia for incivility, personal attacks, aggressive page ownership, and general disruption.  Your block will expire in two weeks. If you wish to make useful contributions, you are welcome to come back after the block expires. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may request an unblock by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. Blocked indefinitely edit

I have changed the current two weeks block on this account to indefinite based on your continued block evasion at DUI in California. If you continue with this kind of unacceptable behavior, this may well be escalated even further. Please, think about it. You have contributed so much, and have so much more to contribute to English Wikipedia, there is no point to resort to breaking policies. Please feel free to contact me if you are willing to adjust accordingly. Alex Shih (talk) 05:42, 26 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hello Alex edit

Came here today to try and blank my user page. There are a bunch of photos there I would like deleted. I thought I would have access to that page but I don't. I don't know why I am being blocked indefinitely, but, that's OK. I have no plans of ever editing here again. As far as I'm concerned, Wikipedia is a failed experiment. The problem is "user names". Once we edit with names, then we edit with ego, and the edits become ego edits. This site is full of gangs and clicks that have been here for over a decade. They run to each other's aid whenever there is a dispute. They also have friends that are admins; they show up for their pals just as fast. This is all because we are identified when we post. If the site was truly concerned about its content, there would be edit numbers. e.g.: An article has 500 edits. A registered user with no identification to others viewing the site, makes edit number "501". No one knows who made that edit. Someone else comes along and makes edit "502", and so on. No ID...NO EGO. I get sick when I go to a user page and see: "This Editor like Cats", and "This Editor is a Whatever", and the list goes on halfway down the page. I don't ever remember as a kid growing up, and using my encyclopedia, and seeing the name of the person under each paragraph that added that info to the subject. This site is completely out of control, and I want no further participation in it. The only time a name should be visible here is in the photo credits, because it is art, and the artist must allow the site to license his work. PERIOD. No other identification should be visible. It would cure 99% of the site's issues. That aside, you can do me a parting favor since you have banned me for life here...lol. Please delete my user page as soon as you read this. You can write this sentence in its place: "This was the former page of a now retired editor". I hope you'll do that for me, because I will never have access to that page again, and I don't want my photos hanging out there on display. Thanks in advance, good luck in the future, and have a great holiday season. Pocketthis (talk) 17:27, 26 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

I am afraid I cannot do that right now. You must explain your rationale for evading your blocks and edit warring without any good reason. My offer to you will stand; I will reduce the block of this account if you are willing to talk about your actions. For now, I suppose it's better to take a break. Happy holidays. • I remember getting into shit over a title change on an article I wrote. I quit the site after that, and then for some reason was blocked later that day, and then blocked by you indefinitely. I don't care about the blocking; all I want are my photos deleted from the user page here. I do not want to ever edit here again, so unblocking me is not a negotiating tool. If you decide not to remove the photos...so be it. You've got to live with yourself and your actions, not me. However, my photos are in the commons repository, and therefore, since I'm not editing here anymore, it is not my wishes that those photos be displayed here any longer. This will be my last edit on this site in my lifetime. If others read this talk page, and see that a user asked a simple favor like removing his artwork, and you, or no one on Wikipedia honored his parting request, it will just reflect more negative karma back on this site. Do what you will. Watch out Wikipedia, "your colors are showing"→Pocketthis (talk) 19:08, 26 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
