This is the first summer Wiknic since the 2019 edition and will feature an edit-a-thon focused Governors Island and ArtCrawl Harlem, Depths of Wikipedia and perpetual stew, as well as plenty more food. ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message edit
Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

The article J.M.I. Recordings has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Fails WP:NORG. No in depth coverage in any reliable source that I can see, only menitons in the context of albums released by the label.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. International Women’s Day Wikipedia Edit-a-Thon, Sunday, March 10 edit

The Oregon Jewish Museum and Center for Holocaust Education (OJMCHE), in partnership with social practice artist Shoshana Gugenheim and as part of the Art+Feminism Project, will host an International Women's Day Wikipedia Edit-a-thon to edit and/or create Wikipedia articles for Jewish women artists. The event will be held at the museum on Sunday, March 10 from 11am-3pm PDT. Pre-registration is preferred but not required. Members of the public are invited to come to the museum to learn about the editing process, its history, its impact, and how to do it. We aim to collaboratively edit/enter Jewish women artists into the canon. An experienced regional Wikipedian will provided will be on site to teach, support, and guide the process. Participants can select artists ahead of time or on site. |

User page move edit
Hello,
I noticed that you moved a User page of User:Jjdelf to User:Seijojoe's User spacee. But this is only done when an editor changes their username and a) that hasn't happened and b) Seijojoe has only made two edits with their account, both of them today on this sandbox page. How did you make an association between these two accounts and comee to the assumption they were the same person? Because I don't see that there was a change in a username just because another editor worked on a different editor's sandbox. Thank you for any explanation you can offer. Liz Read! - @Liz hi, they are the same person. we initially tried a password reset with the older account (that he had forgotten about) and didn't see the email so then continued with the newer account.
