Disambiguation link notification for May 3 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Polpettone di melanzane, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Italian. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Uruguayan cuisine edit

I'm sorry to say that your command of English is not sufficient to properly edit articles on the English Wikipedia. Please do not edit articles here any more, instead edit the Wikipedia of your native language. Beyond My Ken (talk) 03:17, 5 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

{u|Beyond My Ken} Thats sad but true, im not as fluent in English as I once was, neither as I believe myself. Obviously I use a more basic English at discussions in favor of celerity hence I ask that you judge me by my articles and not by my discussions. I have a clue that I understand English better than im understood, respective to this article Im almost done with it. --Neurorebel (talk) 20:01, 5 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

List of candies edit

I have no objection to the inclusion of Garoto now that it has been bluelinked, if you wish to divide the list as you explained in the talk page I say go for it. Bakilas (talk) 05:34, 20 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

In response edit

Hello. I read your message. You might want to go to either WP:Teahouse or WP:help desk. Either one can be more helpful. Ask me any questions if you will. Thanks. --George Ho (talk) 23:28, 20 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

I see you did one month ago. Maybe both pages will help: Wikipedia:Speakers of other languages and Wikipedia:Contributing to articles outside your native language. --George Ho (talk) 23:34, 20 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Maybe Wikipedia:Tutorial or Wikipedia:Contributing to Wikipedia would do. BTW, there is Simple English Wikipedia, which has a welcome page. I'll respond to you about your writing soon please. --George Ho (talk) 23:40, 20 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

– About what you wrote at Wikipedia:Village pump (miscellaneous)/Archive 55#Hello my name is Neurorebel (moved from policy subpage), your English is okay grammatically. However, they may need some improvements, like the spelling and the structure. The typing skills might need some improvements. I see you have posted messages at Wikiversity, so you can go to some course pages. There is v:Computer Skills/Fundamentals/Typing, where you can learn typing. There are also v:English and b:Subject:English language. I don't know which article you referred to or would refer to. Nonetheless, your skills at List of candies are decent. That's just my thoughts. --George Ho (talk) 23:57, 20 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

– Thanks for responding again. About the "momentary permission", I don't think such permission is needed unless you either couldn't edit a locked (protected) article or are banned from editing one article or articles related to one topic. However, better to discuss before editing. "Help:Editing" and "Help:Referencing for beginners" might help. Also, about "User:Neurorebel/sandbox/cuisine" ([1]), if you think it's ready, you might want to press the blue button saying "Submit your draft for review!" If you like to create newer articles, see Wikipedia:Your first article. You can also use Wikipedia:Articles for creation. --George Ho (talk) 05:03, 21 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

– Actually, no. You're not topic-banned. A ban must be initiated by a community or an Arbitration Committee (ArbCom) or an administrator. BMK hasn't proposed a topic ban (yet). Also, he is neither a member of ArbCom nor an admin. If you think ownership is a concern, you might want to read Wikipedia:Ownership of content. However, some of us, including yourself, are concerned about your English communication skills. I doubt there was ownership, but you can disagree if you want. By the way, there is WP:Editing policy, which benefits more. Also, you may want to read Wikipedia:BOLD, revert, discuss cycle, which also applies to your situation. --George Ho (talk) 05:43, 21 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

– Hello again. You have replies at WP:VPM. Please read them through, and you'll see good advices. Best, George Ho (talk) 04:10, 28 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

List of Capsicum cultivars edit

Hi, you just added "Catalán dulce" to list of Capsicum cultivars, but the reference you used ([2]) doesn't refer to anything with that name. It does reference "ají catalán", which I think is probably referring to the ají dulce, which is already in the list under the Capsicum chinense heading. Can you clarify please? Otherwise I'm going to remove it as unreferenced. ♠PMC(talk) 00:44, 2 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification for August 13 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Taste, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Organic salt (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Speedy deletion nomination of Musical systems edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Musical systems, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

  • It is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. (See section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
  • It is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. (See section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Wikipedia has standards for the minimum necessary information to be included in short articles; you can see these at Wikipedia:Stub. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here.
