Rape in the Kashmir insurgency

Sorry to have undone your edits there, but the page is the subject of a POV- or Content-fork dispute. Kashmir is a contentious topic area. POV-pushing editors (and I obviously don't mean you) will often start new pages, when they find that the old ones have stabilized and are no longer in the limelight, as it were. This is somewhat the case with that page, whose content was earlier being developed in Human rights in Jammu and Kashmir. The problem with duplication, i.e. the same content appearing in multiple articles, is that it puts greater burden on those of us who have to watch the Kashmir-related articles and keep them stable and free of wild swings of POV. Fowler&fowler, I oppose your changes. I added those in order to help with the discussion, which is arguing that there is no GNG basis for the article. Megalibrarygirl (talk) 17:40, 1 May 2017 (UTC)

Libraries in Missouri

I know you're probably really busy. But Wikipedia has a new editor who wants to improve coverage on Missouri libraries. I think this new user is a librarian. I've given them what advice I can, but I'm not a librarian and not all that familiar with library articles on Wikipedia. If you have time, I'm sure new user Mobrarian would appreciate any insight you could give. Thanks. — Maile (talk) 12:09, 9 May 2017 (UTC)

Thanks, Maile66! I'll check in with Mobrarian. Megalibrarygirl (talk) 17:09, 9 May 2017 (UTC)

A barnstar for you!

  The Editor's Barnstar
Thanks for your work to improve articles by adding sources and citations to properly verify information and demonstrate topic notability, such as your recent work on the Dora Colvin, Chrissy Gephardt and Gayathri Venkataraghavan articles, among others. Also thanks for your work to expand such articles. North America1000 00:11, 18 May 2017 (UTC)
Thank you, Northamerica1000! You find a lot of the great sources and I'm always glad to see you on AfD. :) Megalibrarygirl (talk) 00:19, 18 May 2017 (UTC)

New Page Review - Newsletter No.4

Hello Megalibrarygirl/Archives/2017,

Since rolling out the right in November, just 6 months ago, we now have 816 reviewers, but the backlog is still mysteriously growing fast. If every reviewer did just 55 reviews, the 22,000 backlog would be gone, in a flash, schwoop, just like that!

But do remember: Rather than speed, quality and depth of patrolling and the use of correct CSD criteria are essential to good reviewing. Do not over-tag. Make use of the message feature to let the creator know about your maintenance tags. See the tutorial again HERE. Get help HERE.

Stay up to date with recent new page developments and have your say, read THIS PAGE.

Reviews you mentioned at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ian's Walk: A Story about Autism

I have copies of the two reviews, I have used them to add a little to the article. If you send me an email I can send the two reviews to you if you'd like. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 08:42, 27 May 2017 (UTC)

Hi Dodger67, thanks for the offer, but I think you've already done an awesome job expanding the article. Kudos! :D Megalibrarygirl (talk) 17:54, 30 May 2017 (UTC)
