Orphaned non-free media (Image:40k 4th ed rulebook.jpg) edit

Thanks for uploading Image:40k 4th ed rulebook.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:04, 15 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

WikiProject Superheroes edit

You recently made me a logo for WikiProject Superheroes, which is great by the way. But someone seems to think it breachs copyright or trademark law with regards the Superman shield. You recently made me a logo for WikiProject Superheroes, which is great by the way and I was wondering if you could make me another. If you will, I want the same thing as Image:WPSuperheroes.svg but the yellow=purple, red=black and the letters TVF instead of WSP. Thanks. BW21.--BlackWatch21 16:50, 2 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Quaterionenadler edit

Hello, Martin23230. I stumble upon here as following the link of User:Martin23230/Quaterionenadler. I'm glad you're preparing to release the article about Quaterionenadler. When do you think you could publish the page as an article? I nominated the image on the right for WP:FP Wikipedia:Featured picture candidates/Quaternion Eagle from c. 1510, so it would be great help for readers to acknowledge the states under the empire in the article. Thanks.--Caspian blue (talk) 15:31, 14 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for the answer. I want to help you expand the article, but I'm new to the subject. The subject is very intriguing and German Wikipedia has several interesting articles regarding it which here does not have. I just stubbed Imperial Eagle beaker which also has the double-headed eagle as a motif. If I could find sources about the history of the Quaterionenadler, I will add them to your article. Anyway, thank you for all image work. :) --Caspian blue (talk) 22:12, 14 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your help! edit

Hi Martin23230, i just read the message you left on the graphics lab, i stupidly forgot to watch the subpage (my preferences wasn't set to do it automatically!) and only later came back to it.

I can honestly say, I could not have been more impressed with the image. It was perfect. I can't help but thinking your past knowledge of the subject must have contributed to its creation - because it was spot on. Endless thanks from me and the rest of the team! Anyway, you said you had some ideas for the logo? I would love to hear what you think. Communication in the place broke down a bit recently after one of the main editors decided to cut all ties with us and go on to WikiProject Baseball.

By the way, are you interested in the series at all? Because we would love to have you. Thanks again! --SteelersFanUK06 ReplyOnMine! 01:19, 12 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

RE: WP:TUGS edit

I couldn't put into words how happy i was with the image you created for our WikiProject.

I then asked myself, what's the best way to say thank you to someone, without using words?

Outstanding! Those changes should ensure this makes FP when renomed. One small suggestions though: the numbers and letters in the circles look a little off center, is there any way to fix that? I fear it may be a compliant at the next FPC. TomStar81 (Talk) 17:53, 4 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

RE: SVG maps edit

Hey there. Good work on the map for Africa, which I was just about to start on before realising it was done! As well, a couple other major maps remain: the Americas and the Arctic. I'll do the latter. Ta! Bosonic dressing (talk) 19:09, 25 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hey there. It'll take me a while longer to do the map for the Arctic -- better late than never, though. As for Matthewedwards' request on my talk page, I haven't had a chance to craft the procedure, but feel free to do so if you wish. :) Thanks! Bosonic dressing (talk) 15:57, 26 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
Great work on the Americas map! I'm also glad we appear to think somewhat alike, since I was going to design the map with that aspect in mind. :) Bosonic dressing (talk) 21:24, 27 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 2012 BBC Sports Personality of the Year Award, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Rowing (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
