Notices for Speedy deletion tags
Hello, Le Deluge,
I was looking at a category that you tagged for deletion, Category:Women in Cajal School, and noticed that you didn't notify the page creator that you had tagged it for deletion. It's important to notify the page creators what has happened to the pages they have worked on because once they are deleted, they will only show up in their deleted contributions which only admins have access to.
Since you use Twinkle, it is really easy to set up your Twinkle Preferences to send out these notifications automatically when you tag a page. Just make sure that you have ALL of the speedy deletion categories checked. A while ago, I checked my Twinkle Preferences and found I only had a few of the CSD criteria checked to send out notices and I had to ensure that all of the criteria were checked.

Samoa category
Hello Le Deluge. With regards to your assertion that there is a convention that "establishments in" categories use the current name of a country even for years when it wasn't so named, I don't believe this is the case. See, for example, Category:Establishments in Burkina Faso by year, Category:Establishments in the Central African Republic by year, Category:Establishments in Malawi by year, Category:Establishments in Zimbabwe by year etc etc. Not even all the Samoan categories use Samoa (some use Western Samoa Trust Territory). - @Number 57: I was referring to the "local" convention that the 1962-1997 establishments in (then, Western) Samoa used the modern name so I went with that. I know there's tension between editors who like to use the historical name at all times vs those who prefer the modern name; in general I go with the local convention as here, but I must admit if there's no obvious choice I tend to go with the modern name just because it makes maintenance easier and helps template writers, and there's less of having to worry "did it drop the Western in 1996 or 1997?".Le Deluge (talk) 10:25, 6 March 2020 (UTC)
