6th Marines on Okinawa edit

I did look at the page, they were only there very briefly. Since you have no sources for your page it is tough to do anything with it. Make sure you know the difference between the 6th Marines, which was a component regiment of the 2nd Marine Division, and the 6th Marine Division, which DID fight on Okinawa but which is never referred to as the "6th Marines". In US military usage, saying "6th Marines" or "15th Infatry" always refers to the regiment, never the division. DMorpheus (talk) 17:35, 7 July 2009 (UTC)
