Spreading the meme since August 2006
The Sociology WikiProject is conducting a roll call (or min-census, if you prefer). More then five years down the road, we have over 50 members, but we don't know how many of them are still active in the sociology area. If you are or want to become once again an active contributor to the sociology content on Wikipedia, please move your name from the inactive to the active list on our roll call (or add yourself to the list if you haven't joined yet!). In other news, we have reactivated the newsletter :) At least, for this announcement. We also have a new, automated to do listing, an active tag and assess project (which has identified about 1,800 sociology articles on Wikipedia, and assessed about 1,3000 of them), and three new userboxes for your self-identification pleasure :) On a final note, I highly recommend watchlisting the Wikipedia:WikiProject Sociology page, so you can be aware of the ongoing discussions.

New category

Hi Kookyunii. I am wondering why you created the new category "Category:Tongil Group subsidiaries". I'm not saying its wrong and maybe you have information that I don't have. I am a Unification Church member (for a long time actually) and I always understood that News World was supported by members in Japan, not the Tongil Group. Hi, welcome your asking. You know what... "Unification Church" is just a religion, is NOT a corporation. Moon Seon-Myung (문선명) is a founder & leader of Unification Church as well as a notable owner of conglomerate "Tongil Group". Thanks for your answer. I understand what you are saying. If you want to take the position that "Tongil Group" equals "Businesses owned by UC members" I guess that is not unreasonable. Please check out List of Unification Church affiliated organizations. Also information on the Tongil Group should be added to the main article on the church. While you are at it, please feel free to jump into the discussion on the proper version of Korean names to use for Rev. Blades of Blood

Hi Kookyunii! Just came across your edit to Blades of Blood and wanted to remind of some style guidelines for the infobox. We don't use flags in infoboxes anymore (haven't for a while now), see MOS:FLAG. Also, we don't need to link the language of the film if there is just one. The infobox coding will automatically link it and will also add a convenient autocat. Just some things to keep in mind while you continue make great contributions! Would you like to visit Unification Church and provide the original Korean names for the official names of the church: "The Holy Spirit Association for the Unification of World Christianity" and "The Family Federation for World Peace and Unification"? "The Holy Spirit Association for the Unification of World Christianity" is "세계기독교통일신령협회" (or occasionally 세계 기독교 통일 신령 협회) by Korean.

"The Family Federation for World Peace and Unification" is "세계평화통일가정연합" (or occasionally 세계 평화 통일 가정 연합) by Korean.

The Classic

Thanks for helping on this page. I have some questions though.

• Do you know if the song 그랬나봐 ("Geuraetna pwa" - World without love) is really in the movie, and during which scene?
• What is the reasoning to change Ji-hae to Ji-Hye, and Tae-su to Tae-soo? I don't speak Korean, and I think I have seen it both ways. Isn't it really hard to say for sure because there is no direct translation? Can you explain this concept to me?
• Can you find any good sources to use for this article? I could not, expect for the 2 about the awards.

You're welcome. I have DVD of the film, but It's been a long time since I watched it. I am afraid that I don't know the details.

— About Korean language, the pronunciation is similar between those words, but it is apparently different name. By Hangul, Ji-hae is 지해, Ji-hye is 지혜. Besides, Tae-su can be both 태서 and 태수, but Tae-soo can be just only 태수. Tae-su is NOT INCORRECT, but it may lead to confuse.

— I could find plenty of sources, but all of them are Korean websites. The examples about The Classic, are... [5], [6], [7]. And what's more, usually I search Korean web portals, journals for the necessary information about the film. I’m afraid I can’t be of much help.

Yeah, those links aren't going to be helpful for the EN.wiki. Yes, I have seen it and love it very much! I think the music has a lot to do with why I like it. It seems to not get the recognition of other K-movies like My Sassy Girl, but to those who do like it, it is often their favorite. Since we both like this one, what other Asian movies or dramas would you recommend for me? I have seen only Autumn in my Heart in the drama category, but have seen about a dozen Asian romance movies, mostly Korean (not counting Indian of course). Duelist

Some time ago You added Bang Hak-ki (comic) as the person responsible for the story of Duelist (film). I can't find any substantiation for that. What is Your source? Navigation template

Hello, regarding {{Christopher McQuarrie}}, I think the scope of the navigation template is better redefined to focus on films directed by the person. Otherwise, we are going to have too many navigation templates in the footer. MOS:FILM#Navigation endorses director templates and discourages actor (cast) templates, and I think that crew templates are closer to cast templates. If universally applied, it would be overload to lay out a screenwriter's filmography in every film article after the director's own. Erik (talk | contribs) 14:34, 25 January 2013 (UTC)
