Portal:International relations edit

You've made a good start at Portal:International relations! I've created the three missing subpages Portal:International relations/Selected article, Portal:International relations/Selected biography and Portal:International relations/Selected picture. These will help you to keep track of which numbered subpages you've created. -- John of Reading (talk) 06:33, 19 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Notability edit

WP:POLITICIAN #3 is the basis for querying the notability of Alex Burton. AllyD (talk) 21:12, 2 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Thanks Ally. The link you provided notes that being an unelected candidate for political office "does not guarantee notability, although such people can still be notable if they meet the primary notability criterion of significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject of the article." I think this person meets that criteria. He launched his campaign yesterday, and is already the subject of at least two profiles in major newspapers,[1][2] as well as being mentioned in some national coverage.[3] Over the next week or so I can probably uncover more sources. What do you think? It looks like most of the other declared and prospective candidates for this election also have their own pages (including some who have not previously held office — see the discussion here[4]). Keihatsu (talk) 21:17, 2 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Richard Mourdock edit

I understand your position, but I think the sources are there. We will see how the AfD goes. Casprings (talk) 02:37, 24 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the note, and best of luck with the AfD. I realize I was pretty quick to nominate, and maybe you weren't finished adding sources. Keihatsu (talk) 02:41, 24 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

New Documents from the Gerald Ford Library edit

Hi

I work at the Gerald Ford Presidential Library and Museum, and we are uploading materials to Wikimedia Commons. We have a number of documents that might be of interest to you - they are located at Documents at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and Museum. If you are interested in writing articles/stubs, I may be able to provide you with pictures from our archives as well. We have a limited number of artifacts uploaded, at Artifacts at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and Museum. Let me know if I can help in any way, and please feel free to pass the word about these docs; I'd love to see some content generated around them....thanks! June 2013 edit

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to John L. Withers, II may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 04:55, 6 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Good article edit

I have been thinking to nominate this article as a good article. I'd be interested in your thoughts on whether you think it is ready since you have some familiarity with the topic. —Zujine|talk 19:56, 7 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

I gave the page a quick scan just now. I spotted a few small errors, and might think of some ways to make the coverage more complete, but altogether it looks well written, balanced and reasonably comprehensive. If you want to nominate it, I might have time to do a formal review next week (unless someone else gets to it first, that is). Good luck!

I've nominated the article now in case you want to take a look. Thanks. —Zujine|talk 19:34, 27 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

It's been nearly a month now, and I haven't seen any updates to the review. I addressed all the issues you mentioned so far. There's no rush on my end, but thought I'd remind you in case you had forgotten.—Zujine|talk 07:12, 28 August 2013 (UTC)Reply
I am SO sorry. Life just got away from me over the summer and Wikipedia editing just didn't enter into my consciousness. The review will be finished in the next 24 hours. Keihatsu talk 06:58, 2 September 2013 (UTC)Reply
Just to let you know that the issues you raised appear to have been addressed. When you get the chance, can you check to see where the nomination stands? Many thanks. BlueMoonset (talk) 21:39, 10 September 2013 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for the reminder. I'm happy to report that the review is now complete. Keihatsu talk 12:20, 11 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification for July 17 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited L. Craig Johnstone, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Institute of Politics (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Friendly request edit

Hello Keihatsu! I've noticed you around! I'm currently working on a project to bring as much of the wiki up to HTML5 compliance as I can. I've noticed that your signature uses some obsolete and deprecated elements, and I'm wondering if I can get you to update your signature. If you're willing to bring your signature up-to-date, I suggest replacing:

<span style="color:black; font-size:small;">Keihatsu</span> <span style="color:#999999;">talk</span>
with:
<b style="color:#000; font-size:small;">Keihatsu</b> <b style="color:#999;">talk</b>
which will result in a 137 character long signature (6 characters shorter) with an appearance of: Keihatsu talk
compared to your existing 143 character long signature of: Keihatsu talk
— Either way. Happy editing! — Technical 13 (etc) 17:53, 3 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hello Keihatsu, Several weeks ago you responded to a request for a third opinion on the setting of a motion picture. I am inviting you to return and share your opinion again for an RfC that is currently open on the "Glengarry Glen Ross (film)" page.

Response so far in the RfC has been mixed, and insight is needed. Thanks! Xanthis (talk) 16:36, 9 March 2015 (UTC)Reply
