DYK for Mary Hogarth

On 8 March 2017, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Mary Hogarth, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Mary Hogarth (pictured) is believed to be the inspiration for Charles Dickens' characters Rose in Oliver Twist and Little Nell in The Old Curiosity Shop? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Mary Hogarth. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Mary Hogarth), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

imdb

A lot of imdb is user-generated, and it is a good idea to find other sources for certain information, but there are details on imdb that are reviewed by someone after being contributed by reliable people.— Vchimpanzee • talk • contributions • 20:41, 8 March 2017 (UTC)

But it's not good as a source for birthdates, which is the most common misuse of IMDb. Joseph2302 (talk) 21:16, 8 March 2017 (UTC)

Wow! That was really a strong hook that you wrote! Yoninah (talk) 15:23, 14 March 2017 (UTC)
Yes it was, best hook I've done. Seems like deaths are the popular hooks this month, there's another death hook that's top of DYKSTATS. Joseph2302 (talk) 09:45, 15 March 2017 (UTC)
