Hello, Jayanthkumar123. Re this edit, I don't why this is particularly relevant. Also if we are mentioning it for Atharva, there's no reason why dubbing artists of Pooja Hegde and Mirnalini Ravi should be excluded, and basically for every other actress and villain in Telugu films. Hello Ranjith, I found that your edits are unconstructive. Before adding the data of the film in other artciles, please go through the respective article's data. Here in the case of Beast (2022 Indian film), the box office data is disputed and also the box office figures are not added in the film's infobox. Similarly you have made changes List of highest-grossing Tamil films and List of highest-grossing South Indian films regarding Valimai and other films. Hello Mr.Adakiko, what I did are purely based on the sources. In the case of Valimai, the box office collections are ranged between ₹155.45–234 crore. While few editors are continously chaning its figures as only ₹234 crore which is incorrect. The figures should not vary between List of Tamil films of 2022 and the Valimai articles. Also, its a gentle remainder to u to use the figures that are sourced and are used in the film's main article. Do not make unconsturctive edits. Now in the case of Beast (2022 Indian film), there are no proper box office figures in it's main article. First, let the box office dispute regarding the film, come to an end. Hello Tiger, the changes/edits that are done by me are purely reliable. For example, take the case of K.G.F: Chapter 2, I added the lowest range of the collections too. Wikipedia is not for unconstructive edits. I have made edit based on the data provided in the News 18 article, which is regarded as reliable. For your better understanding please go through the article. The collections that are reported by News 18 had a complete breakdown with repective to both area-wise and language wise, thus making the collections more valid. If you are facing any problem while reading the article (as it is in Telugu language), I can help you out. The another edit you talked about is regarding the RRR collections. Hey Fostera, although the media consider a film to be pan-indian, everything cannot be added here in the list. Please refer to the talk page for the criteria. Mani Ratnam, Ram Gopal Varma, Jeethu Joseph and Kamal Haasan cannot be considered as major figures, because they are really not part of original pan-india made films. I am repeating again that the media may publish saying 'x' is pan-indian figure, but there is certain criteria for this. On the top of the article you have removed "term related to Indian cinema that started off with the Telugu cinema.[1] The term gained popularity since 2015, post the success of Baahubali: The Beginning (2015)." which is very crucial. According to the sources you have added, My Dear Kuttichathan was released only in Tamil and Hindi along with Malayalam. See, the point is the source no where mentioned it as a pan-indian success although it might be successful in Malayalam. Donot add box office puffery here. Mughal-e-Azam and Sholay might be successful but how are they releated to this article. Content related to Drushyam can added but must be relatble to the article, but you have added it's success rather adding its notability. I do aware of these caste related-things. But his complete given name is Raghupathi Venkaiah Naidu. Even the article is named after this (including Naidu). That is why I said not to remove the entire name. If the article or his complete name doesn't include "Naidu" then I would not said that. Here it is the matter of name, no matter how is it. There is not need to rush for box office collections. If the source are reliable then the figures can be changed. Don't bring TOI source here (at least for this case). In the 2st November article it mentioned 500 crore (as you said). I am just removing the unnecessary content. Why don't you understand that 200 crore figure of 2018 is just a business figure and 177 crore is the reliable figure. Also, for the Pulimurugan, only 152 crore figure is added, but in the very original film page, the box figure has a range between 134.85-152 crore. Can you answer about the above two situations. I understand that, you being from Kerala wants to keep the article neat and well maintained as you are the person who is directly associated with the regional dynamics, but also understand that it is important to add the content in a neutral point of view. Hi, my ethnicity has nothing to do with the edits I make. I hardly ever lived in Kerala and my interests are only because of the movies. The Malayalam articles I edit form only a fraction of my edits and there isn't any conflict of interest so far. The addition of box office figures have undergone so much of scrutiny before (as seen in the talk pages of the list) and the reliability of references are clearly established per WP:ICTFSOURCES. So if you are interested in improving the article, kindly refer to that list of references given and use them to update the articles. Double check before adding or removing the references, and make sure you give a proper rationale in the edit summary when you removing or adding, especially for major edits with over 1000 bytes. It's absolutely necessary and some you gave are not self explanatory.
As with the argument of exact box office figures, I know it's a hard thing to keep track Indian BO. The list has undergone very deep scrutiny to differentiate publicity figures and independent tracker websites to denote the exact figures, and have finally came to that form you are seeing now. Kindly go through the edit history for the exact timeline.
@Arjunsoumithran: have explained the dynamics of the collection and the references in the next section of your talk page. So you both discuss and figure it out, without edit warring. Both of you are given a 3RR violation warning before and the next one might be a direct ban from an admin without a warning. As a fellow editor, it will be a bit sad for me to lose both of you since you both have a common love for cinema and Wikipedia, something to come by hard. So please figure it out and then come to an agreement.
Alternatively, either of you can start a RfC or a discussion on the Cinema Task force talkpage for obtaining an exact consensus and a guideline for future addition of BO figures to Mollywood films. It will be really helpful and hence all the discrepancies and edit warring can be solved easily. Just ping me if such a discussion ever happens, and I'll join too.

Hello Arjunsoumithran, hope you are doing well. Frankly speaking, India doesn't have proper box office tracking system. As far as I know, Bollywood have by far the better tracking portals (Bollywood Hungama and Box Office India are best examples). Tollywood too fairly better tracking system but is limited to only Andhra-Nizam, Karnataka and United States (including Canada) markets. Similarly Kollywood too have good tracking system limited to Tamil Nadu, Andhra-Nizam and some important Tamil-speaking countries (Sri Lanka, Malaysia and GCC). But, Kannada cinema and Mollywood doesn't have proper tracking system within their territories. Most of the English sources which we rely on for the box office figures doesn't have proper information; mostly for Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam films. So they rely mostly on the third party sources from the respective regions. Due this reason, Telugu and Tamil have atleast good amount of sources. I have observed publishing the business figure is a regular practice in Malayalam films. Check these articles from various publishers (The Indian Express: https://indianexpress.com/article/entertainment/malayalam/tovino-thomas-starrer-2018-becomes-first-malayalam-film-to-reach-rs-200-crore-milestone-8652435/), (Telangana Today: https://telanganatoday.com/2018-becomes-first-malayalam-film-to-gross-200-crores-worldwide). In both of these articles, the title itself is misleading, not just these many websites mentioned that the film crossed 200 crores, they never mentioned if it is gross or business but the poster that was officially released clearly mentioned the figure as business. You might be aware how our Indian websites only highlights what they want, here 200 crore figure is a big thing so they did the same, but as a contributor it is important to check whether the figure is correct or wrong. As the days pass, due to no other option the websites repeatedly report 200 crore. This was happend alot in Telugu and Tamil films, but the only better thing is in both these industries, the business figure is rarely or never published officially during the theatrical run. Pan-Indian film

There isn't any particular criteria, but going by the article, the film should be released in three/four/more Indian languages (excluding original version). There are many films releasing in several languages, so only those films which are successful in dubbed versions (considerably one/two/more) and gained some prominence in other parts of India (outside of their core market like, Telugu cinema-Andhra Nizam, Tamil cinema-Tamil Nadu, Hindi cinema-North India, etc.). There are sources which show Leo is successful in all the dubbed versions (till some extent) and also gained some prominence in the pop culture (for example, it's score soundtrack, characters, box office), but Ponniyin Selvan was only successful in the Tamil version and Tamil-speaking regions around the world. Appreciating your efforts for trying my inputs. No doubt, Hanu-Man is successful in only Telugu and Hindi versions, but there isn't much influence of the film in pop culture and the Indian industry whole (being successful in one region is not essential). For your information, Hanu-Man is one of the highest grossing "Telugu" films in NA, but not "Indian". There are many other films like Leo, PS series and Hindi films which collected more than this film. But even them were not included in the list, because there isn't much impact nation-wide or there aren't any primary sources which support their influence. Upon going through the Zamin Ryot archives [8], there are a few films that bring absolutely no content on a Google search. I lack context (don't read Telugu) on who the entire cast and crew of the film is. I want to add another point here, although Mrunal Thakur did only three films, she got recognition from Telugu cinema than from Hindi cinema. They are few actors who are in this league. That doesn't work, because how can somebody be called as upcoming if they are already established. Let's take Thakur as example, she has being received wide recognition with many calling her as a star actress or Tier-1 actress. It's better to have three films criteria which satisfies every aspect. Anyways, adding three film criteria won't make the article too longer, as already most of them were already added. But we can't deny that actresses such as Thakur can be added to the list.
