Some cookies to welcome you!

Welcome to Wikipedia, JaxieDad! Thank you for your contributions. I am BrillLyle and I have been editing Wikipedia for some time, so if you have any questions feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. You can also check out Wikipedia:Questions or type {{help me}} at the bottom of this page. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name using four tildes (~~~~); that will automatically produce your username and the date. I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! BrillLyle (talk) 20:48, 25 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Account creator granted edit

After reviewing your request for the "account creator" permission, I have enabled the flag on your account. Keep in mind these things:

  • The account creator right removes the limit on the maximum number of new accounts that can be created in a 24-hour period.
  • The account creator right is not a status symbol. If it remains unused, it is likely to be removed. Abuse of the account creator right will result in its removal by an administrator.

If you no longer require the right, let me know, or ask any other administrator. Drop a note if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of the account creator right. Happy editing! — xaosflux Talk 16:27, 4 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

This has been added for your event, and will be removed after. Do NOT use the options for "blacklist" or "spoofing" when creating accounts for others, instead prompt them to pick a new userid. — xaosflux Talk 16:27, 4 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Event page edit

Hello, thanks for creating this page! I hope this event goes well. Just a recommendation - when you create an event like this, it's best to add categories for the event so it can be tracked (I've done this), and add it to the calendar and template. This allows people to find and track it, and also will likely increase the likelihood of remote support from experienced contributors who can correct mistakes on pages created and give feedback to new contributors. Hope this is helpful to you, let me know if any thoughts or questions. Blythwood (talk) 00:51, 1 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Liza Sylvestre edit

Hello JaxieDad,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Liza Sylvestre for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Speedy deletion nomination of Liza Sylvestre edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Liza Sylvestre, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Ways to improve Ruth Chaney edit

Hi, I'm Boleyn. JaxieDad, thanks for creating Ruth Chaney!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. This has been tagged for several issues.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

ArtAndFeminism 2018 and upcoming Gainesville meetup edit

Hi JaxieDad! I noticed that you organized an editathon at the Harn Museum last month -- yay, and I'm sorry I missed it! I'm thinking of organizing a meetup in the next couple of weeks, probably in the week right after exams at UF, either at one of the UF libraries or the Florida Museum of Natural History. Would you be interested in helping organize it? If so, drop me an e-mail or leave me a message on my talk page! Otherwise, I'll put out notifications at Wikipedia:Meetup/Gainesville, Florida and elsewhere, so I'm sure you'll see it -- hope to see you at the meetup! -- Gaurav (talk) 19:53, 19 April 2018 (UTC)Reply
