Draft:Joan Livingstone (artist) edit

Hi Hmacke, I came across your draft article at Wikipedia:WikiProject Women in Red/Drafts, which picks up declined drafts of biographies of women. It would appear that Joan Livingstone does meet Wikipedia notability guidelines, particularly WP:ARTIST #3 "The person has created or played a major role in co-creating a significant or well-known work or collective body of work. In addition, such work must have been the primary subject of ... multiple independent periodical articles or reviews" and #4: "The person's work (or works) has: (a) become a significant monument, (b) been a substantial part of a significant exhibition, (c) won significant critical attention, or (d) been represented within the permanent collections of several notable galleries or museums."

I see in the draft, in the Publications section, that there are a lot of articles that appear to be reviews of exhibitions or other work by Livingstone. I have moved a couple to be references to information in other sections of the article, as this is the type of coverage which establishes notability in Wikipedia terms (see WP:SIGCOV), and provides verification of the information (the exhibitions, Livingstone's themes, reception of her work, etc), per WP:WHYCITE.

I'm wondering if you have access to the publications about Livingstone by other people that are listed in the Publications section? If you do, it would be very useful to use them as references, with inline citations in relevant positions within the article. I was able to find a couple in online databases I have access to, but it would help convince reviewers of Livingstone's notability if you could use more of them as sources, rather than just listing them.

I hope this is clear - if it's not, or if you have any questions, I'm happy to try to help. Sally Smart is an example of an article I found as a draft and worked on, by finding sources online and in libraries - easier for me as she is Australian and I'm in Australia. I am still fairly new to editing Wikipedia, and there are still many things I'm learning, so I know how confusing some of Wikipedia's requirements and expectations can be!
