EADS

You have been unable to show that EADS has changed the name of its space subsidiaries. Despite many many requests you have changed correct information to your unsubstantiated information. You are damaging the project, please stop it. Have a look at the EADS websites, NOWHERE does it say there are susidiaries called ASTRIUM Space Transportation or ASTRIUM Satellites. You have also created double redirects. If you move a page, it is up to you to check that there are no double redirects. I am reverting all of these edits and if you change them again without credible sources to back up your changes I will report you for vandalism. Mark83 13:41, 10 August 2006 (UTC)

Look at the homepage, look at the EADS Space leaflet from the homepage. You said over a month ago "I am going to talk to EADS so that they remove all these old names and logos from their web site and switch to "ASTRIUM, an EADS company". • The change is effective since July 1st, 2006. The new logo will be presented in September. EADS personnel is now using the ASTRIUM word in big bold black letters as temporary logo, while waiting for the official announcement of the new logo and corporate identity. As EADS are still publicly describing themselves as EADS Space Transportation, EADS Astrium, that is how we must describe them.   • Please don't send complete strangers finanical information belonging to your relatives! That doesn't really prove anything. Being paid by Astrium SAS doesn't prove your father works for a company called "Astrium Satellites" or "Astrium Space Transportation". You are aware that SAS isn't part of the name? Source is a rare book Toutes les Simca by René Bellu. Bellu was doing that himself at home in Le Conquet and selling them himself (I sent the check directly to him), so there is not even an ISBN... Hektor 12:04, 13 August 2006 (UTC)

Simca stuff

Hi Hektor! I just wanted to tell you that I have started a section on talk:Simca to discuss and coordinate efforts regarding all Simca-related articles! Do take a look, and also continue to contribute your great stuff to all those articles that need them so desperately.

We also still need more free pics for the articles! As you have the advantage of speaking French, you might contact all the French Simca onwers/enthusiasts (which I believe are the most numerous) and ask them if they would be so nice to release some pics into public domain. The most urgent issue currently is the Bagheera, as it might be featured on the front page any day, and we still don't have a pic. EADS/Astrium

I'll not be reverting any changes you make in line with that document. I don't want to be rude, but please do it properly - when I was reverting your edits way back when this discussion first started you changed the intros but very little of the main text.

EADS are insane - changing the name of a company but two or three months later not changing their websites, issuing a press release or making any sort of comment about it! That's why I doubted what you were saying. I don't have access to internal memos! Mark83 22:24, 29 August 2006 (UTC)

Spacefacts link on the Anousheh Ansari page

Hi Hektor. I was curious what you thought the spacefacts external link added to the Ansari page. It doesn't seem to contain any information that isn't already in the article, and contains some information (such as place of birth) the article seems to disagree with (of course that could be WP not the spacefacts page). • I think spacefacts is a useful reference, they have good images and most astronaut pages have a link, so why not this one. Anyway I guess the spacefacts guys will put the right data quite soon.
