Disambiguation link notification for March 10 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 2016 LFL US season, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Legends Cup. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Per capita in the USA edit edit

Thanks GiovanniSidwell

Re Saguenay, Quebec. Yes it was a mistake. Thanks for picking it up. I was doing a bulk edit and I thought I had correctly sifted my edit list. Eno Lirpa (talk) 13:16, 25 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

Montreal edit

Why would you revert the Language issues edit? This simply doesn't reflect Montreal. It makes it sound as it is common when these are isolated incidents. And yes, it happens in a lot of places, Belgium, France and Germany for example where many citizens don't like tourists or people speaking a different language. It's not a characteristic specific to Montreal so IMO it shouldn't be included in the Montreal article... Mtlfiredude (talk) 18:50, 31 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

@Mtlfiredude: Somehow I conflated "confronted" with "assaulted" like the story about the Metro employee. I disagree with your reasoning for removing the info, but after reviewing the sources I agree it is not notable enough to be included in the article. Why delete my edit?????? edit

Why delete my edit? 20 is far from generous, it cancels out alot of the current generation of players, there's plenty of page room so leave it be, equally it makes for a much better read/view with extra players listed, especially for the younger generation who aren't familiar with alot of the current top 20 players! PJNWUK (talk) 19:10, 16 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

@PJNWUK: I have not done an exhaustive survey of all other teams pages, but the ones I have looked at have at most the top 10 goalscorers (e.g. France, Germany, Italy, etc). Wikipedia is not a collection of statistics about a given team (see WP:NOTSTATS), statistics should be provided with some context, a whole page of goalscorers limits that context. There is no reason to put undue weight on the contributions of younger players, simply because some people may not have heard of older players. In fact I would say that this runs counter to the goal of such a list, which is to educate people about the players who have actually scored a lot for the national team in question. If you don't know anything about them, click the link. GiovanniSidwell (talk) 22:24, 16 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Out of order! edit

I don't understand why my edit is such a big deal to you, the current page info is very limited so I personally consider the extra information/stats of a great help to the page, I know for a fact of numerous people suggesting there wasn't enough stats on the page regarding more players etc, I don't understand why you can't leave my edit alone, you're evidently desperate if you're browsing numerous wiki pages trying to wrongly delete users added content! Probably would've missed this edit, but you are just using the infobox wrong. Minor league teams should not be listed here. Thanks for pointing it out so I could correct it. GiovanniSidwell (talk) 18:13, 15 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Luchazi language, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Nasal (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Zsa Zsa Padilla edits edit

Hi, I didn't add antagonist in Zsa Zsa Padilla's article, it is villain and a villain is different in antagonist.? Ieyeeeeendeeed (talk) 15:24, 15 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

@Ieyeeeeendeeed: As stated in WP:ANTAGONIST any term that assigns a role to a character should be avoided, and villain is specifically mentioned. GiovanniSidwell (talk) 15 May 2018 (UTC)

Okay, but the reason I added the villain, cause I saw the articles have villain or antagonist in the castlist or career content, but mostly I saw in the articles of mexican actors/actresses have antagonist or protagonist in their castlist. Why are the antagonist tags are numerous in other articles? Btw Sorry again for my bad edits. Ieyeeeeendeeed (talk) 17:11, 15 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
@Ieyeeeeendeeed: Lots of wikipedia articles do not follow the wikipedia guidelines. Sometimes it's because of ignorance, sometimes people interpret guidelines differently. I would say in this case it's probably just a case of editors not knowing the guideline, and using the language they would use to describe the character, without considering whether it's appropriate for a encyclopedia setting. GiovanniSidwell (talk) 17:30, 15 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Oh okay 🙂. Ieyeeeeendeeed (talk) 17:35, 15 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
