July 2011 edit

This is your only warning; if you create an inappropriate page again, such as a number of AfDs which were clearly aimed at articles created by editors with whom you have recently had a dispute, you will be blocked from editing without further notice. Talk Page Messages edit

When sending messages to other users on their talk page, you should post the new message at the bottom, with its own header, posting it in a seemingly random unrelated section is just confusing. The easiest way to do it is to click the + next to the edit button--Jac16888 Talk 00:58, 30 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Your note on my talk page edit

Thanks for your note on my talk page. I realize that you are trying to operate in good faith here. I'm afraid that you got off to kind of a rough start here at Wikipedia. That often happens when someone's first contribution is to write a whole new article, without knowing anything about Wikipedia's policies or editing methods. Articles by brand-new users often wind up at Articles for Deletion, with many hurt feelings and misunderstandings all the way around. (Personally I wish Wikipedia had a policy that before you write a brand new article you have to make some other edits or contributions here, just so you learn your way around.) Anyhow, I can tell that you want to make valid contributions here, and I hope you stay and become a regular contributor. I would encourage you to do it by starting small - reading about subjects in which you have an interest, and making edits and improvements to the articles. (For example you might be able to make helpful contributions at San Francisco or at Chinatown, San Francisco.) You can learn a lot about how to contribute at WP:WELCOME, and I would be glad to "mentor" you if you wish. As for the "retaliatory" deletion nominations, I realize that was a misunderstanding on your part; no hard feelings. --MelanieN (talk) 14:56, 31 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
