Hello Itsmolola. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Itsmolola. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Itsmolola|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. 331dot (talk) 15:37, 20 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

I am not getting paid to write this biography, I am just doing this as an act of letting people know about their favorite artistes. Itsmolola (talk) 15:47, 20 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
Your username is "Its Molola" and you are writing about someone that goes by the name Mo'Lola. If you are associated with or represent her, now is the time to say so. 331dot (talk) 15:48, 20 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
I am her associate but not getting paid to set up a Wikipedia page, It would make me unbiased, all the words in the bio are not biased or to praise or promote the artiste. It is just to inform the people about her information. Itsmolola (talk) 15:50, 20 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
That's considered promotional, at least on Wikipedia. Wikipedia has articles, not pages, and is not for merely providing information. Wikipedia articles about musicians summarize what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about the musician, showing how they meet the special Wikipedia definition of a notable musician.
You will need to tell a new username you want this account renamed to; you cannot use her name as your username. I can change it if you tell me to what.
You don't need to be specifically paid to edit Wikipedia to be a paid editor- any form of compensation triggers the disclosure requirement, a requirement of the Terms of Use. Even if you receive no compensation, you still have a conflict of interest to disclose. 331dot (talk) 15:54, 20 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for your help, I have made some certain changes. Please help change the username to Joshsam. Itsmolola (talk) 16:02, 20 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
The name "Joshsam" is too similar to other usernames and so the system will not allow me to change it. Please choose something else. You may use Special:CentralAuth to see if a potential name is available(though it will not pick up names that are too similar) 331dot (talk) 16:05, 20 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
Could you try using this "Enisegun", Thanks. Itsmolola (talk) 16:08, 20 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
I also have a question to ask you, in terms of disclosure what do I write since I am not getting paid to write the biography but associated to the artiste? Your help would be appreciated. Itsmolola (talk) 16:10, 20 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
Your account is now renamed. Please read WP:DISCLOSE for instructions on disclosing. 331dot (talk) 16:12, 20 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for your support, I have made some edits based on your advise and added a disclosure. Thanks Enisegun (talk) 16:49, 20 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
You need to put the disclosure on your user page, not the draft. You also need to remove the "nowiki" tags around the disclosure to permit its proper display. 331dot (talk) 16:53, 20 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
All done, thanks for your guidance. Please check. Enisegun (talk) 17:00, 20 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
So that template is used for article talk pages. As a courtesy I will provide the correct one. 331dot (talk) 17:01, 20 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
Thanks Enisegun (talk) 17:04, 20 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
I await your help, thanks Enisegun (talk) 17:12, 20 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

You have submitted the draft for review; it will eventually be reviewed. I prefer to conduct one review in most cases, so that you hear from others and not just me. 331dot (talk) 17:42, 20 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your support, I appreciate. Enisegun (talk) 17:46, 20 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
