- Anywhere where I removed them for failing WP:NFCC#8, rivalry articles, year articles, cups and others. Werieth (talk) 03:04, 1 May 2013 (UTC)

- What about using the text-only wordmarks for the rivalry & season articles (File:UL Lafayette Wordmark.jpg, File:Maine blackbears textlogo.png, ect.)? It seems pretty standard, see Alabama–Penn State football rivalry, Third Saturday in October, 2012 Florida Gators football team, ect. These images all say on them that "This image or logo only consists of typefaces, individual words, slogans, or simple geometric shapes. These are not eligible for copyright alone because they are not original enough, and thus the logo is considered to be in the public domain." Do these wordmarks need a rationale, too? - Those wordmarks fail threshold of originality and are below the point that can be copyrighted. However the files you where adding are well above that mark and are non-free and subject to different rules. Werieth (talk) 05:03, 1 May 2013 (UTC)

- Depends on the wordmark. The main restriction is not to use non-free files. If you take a look at the image discription page, you will see two categories at the bottom, it will have "All free media" or "All non-free media". If a file is in the second category its use must be limited. Werieth (talk) 05:26, 1 May 2013 (UTC)

St. Norbert and Buffalo State CFB season articles
EJ, I urge you to propose some form of consolidated list for these articles that have pending AfDs during the AfD discussions. If you propose a merge that tracks any of the usual CFB season list alternatives per WP:CFBSEASON, I will support the merge. Otherwise, I fear these articles will be deleted as non-notable single seasons and your work will be lost. Regards, Dirtlawyer1 (talk) 16:21, 26 April 2013 (UTC)
- EJ, the last of these articles was deleted today at AfD. You can still request that any of the closing admins userfy the content so you can create a list of seasons article.
