Farrokh Tamimi edit

This is an automated message from MadmanBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Farrokh Tamimi, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.farrokhtamimi.org/english/biography.htm.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. Speedy deletion nomination of Farrokh Tamimi edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Farrokh Tamimi requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://www.farrokhtamimi.org/english/biography.htm. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Regarding your comment — while "Proverbial People" indeed can be interpreted as "people who are the foci of proverbs", it can also be interpreted other ways with equal legitimacy. Copy editing edit

Hi Chyah. It's been a pleasure helping you to edit the page you created about Layal Abboud. However, I will be moving on now. Here are some common errors that I see cropping up on your Enhlish-language edits:

  • Paragraphs: Always put an extra line between paragraphs. To do this, just hit your return or enter key twice. Avoid using the "br" tag because It makes it difficult for other editors to navigate changes.
  • Sentences: When speaking or writing in English, generally follow the subject–verb–object structure. For example, "Chyah edited the article" follows the pattern with "Chyah" as the subject, "edited" as the verb, and "the atticle" is the object. Important: The subject needs to be in the sentence, even if the subject is replaced by a pronoun, as in "I edited the article" or "You edited the article" or "He or she edited the article." What doesn't work is a sentence like, "Edited the article." Who edited the article? The subject: Chyah or Morganfitzp or Layal or whomever. Always include the subject.
  • Spaces: Only one space between words in a sentence, no space between a word and the punctuation mark that follows it, and in Wikipedia, no space before a reference cited in the text.

Thanks for you edits. And I know adjusting to the rules of a new language can be hard. Best to you. Morganfitzp (talk) 21:36, 3 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Satw Mosalas edit

The article Satw Mosalas has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Does not appear to be notable.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. - CHAMPION (talk) (contributions) (logs) 02:10, 4 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

@Morganfitzp: thank you, btw, i am not just waiting, i translated the article to arabic. her arabic article was/is not well too. --ސ ޚ ލ ٰ ا (talk) 19:36, 4 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Okay, so what I'm understanding is that you and a friend are using the internet from the same IP address, and that some Wikipedia editor(s) think that you're both the same person using two accounts to make edits. It may be helpful for me to know where you are located. Morganfitzp (talk) 19:38, 4 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

that is right, and sometimes i use vpn for opening auto-blocked sites in my region. i prefer to don't say my location in my talk page (somewhere in the "safe parts" of middle east), its about privacy at all, but it seems the investigators knows well all things about me. i am so angry of this. the looked at my ip withthout reason, they invaded my privacy while i am just creating articles and improving them, --ސ ޚ ލ ٰ ا (talk) 19:46, 4 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
Wikipedia editors' IP addresses are pretty easy to check. I could have looked and seen where you were editing from, but I figured I'd just ask you. I assumed you were from Lebanon given your fandom for Layal Abboud. I think it's cool that you brought something from the Arabic-speaking world to the English-speaking Wikipedia, but there may be other editors from your region who do this with the intent to disrupt this platform—People from all over the world do this! But it may be that more people from your region do this and that the admins noticed some things that match a pattern of abuse, so they blocked you. My advice to you is to go through the appeals process. I've had to appeal many things on Wikipedia, and this thing is just one of many appeals you'll have to make in working here. Best of luck and let me know how it goes. Morganfitzp (talk) 20:07, 4 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
i am lebanese yea, but i don't live in lebanon now. (be more smart, for example check why i interested personally to Abboud not Myriam Klink! then u can have more information about myself ) IPs in iran usually changes, it's not owned, my Internet Service Providers changes it. you can ask iranian users here. (check now my ip, where i am located? sometimes shows me in the Southwest of iran, but its wrong).
.thank for your attending, but i don't got what you mean by " appeals process"? temporary i can move to other projects, but i made EnWiki as my home wiki. --ސ ޚ ލ ٰ ا (talk) 20:18, 4 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
i hope i back to editing, one of my articles is under speedy deletion now but i can improve it. i love editing, sharing, improving articles, helping etc, i don't want be blocked, i did nothing, i just wanna back to editing and respecting to my privacy. they made a list for me! come on! i have no sockpuppet. (excuse me me if i can't talk formal english, i learned from movies. ) --ސ ޚ ލ ٰ ا (talk) 20:24, 4 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
At the bottom of the box below, it says, "Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information." That's your best hope of getting back your status as an editor.
I'm not interested in your IP address and of course they can change for any user. I may be at my job now and that IP address will come up. Then I could go to my fentist and edit from my smartphone there, and that's a different IP. Then I might travel to Mongolia and edit from there, and a Mongolian IP address will come up. My guess is that someone sees a pattern with you. Maybe IP addesses are part of it, maybe it's editing habits. Loking at past messages on this talk page, I see some red flags. But this your business, not mine. Morganfitzp (talk) 20:27, 4 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
PS: I prefer to keep my Wikipedia business on Wikipedia. I won't respond to personal emails. I will say that I have seen instances of nationalism on Wikipedia, but always assume good faith (AGF) that most editors adhere to Wikipedia's neutral point of view (NPOV) policy. Those who do not follow this policy do not last long on Wikipedia. Morganfitzp (talk) 20:43, 4 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
Hi Chyah. How is your appeal going? Another question: When did you start using this account? Morganfitzp (talk) 21:03, 8 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
@Morganfitzp: Hi. Can you just talk to me more SIMPLE ENGLISH to me! i am waiting this days, and keep my contributes in Arabic wikipedia. just make it more simple. even if they said right, i have sockpuupets, but what is wrong?! i told you, the truth is that i have no idea how are they (who listed as my sockpupptes) i just know User:S.Haboush --ސ ޚ ލ ٰ ا (talk) 21:08, 8 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Ah. I see. Looking back at some of your edits, a few are problematic, violating Wikipedia's basic policies. It could be that this behavior, along with unusual IP activity, set off some alerts and the administrators decided to block your account. Morganfitzp (talk) 22:43, 8 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
‌: @Morganfitzp: and "indefinite"? well done. i have nothing to say. you right, you right, i should be blocked i am a troll at all. you are 100% right. i have no complainmnet, you did best and you are right. i accecpt the currently template in my account page as frist and best medal of my experience in the EnWiki. and about "unusual IP activity" can u define it? don't make policies by your opinions. --ސ ޚ ލ ٰ ا (talk) 23:29, 8 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

‌: @Morganfitzp: my talk page was trolled many time, here, in the Enwikie, but no admin cared about it. there is also a king of trolls sometimes shows up in the FaWikiqoute and torlling by my name (that is why i changed my user name). i think this related to them, i think they faked as me, (as u said, its easy to "fake as a user" u just need to check up his her ip, look at his her contirubts and behave like him her and do "faking) and good job! they did best and deceived investigators, its so easy no need to any device. just find out a user ip, act like the user, show u interested in same topics , even, speak like the user., then you did great job as torll.. --ސ ޚ ލ ٰ ا (talk) 21:04, 12 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

This Sockpuppet investigations invaded my privacy, User:Morganfitzp can say why i invited User:S.Haboush (a person who familiar with topic of a article that i focused on it todays) to EnWiki for helping me about an article, (i don't see it's necessary to say why his ip is same with me, cz it's personal, i asked a person to help me here, in real world, sitting beside me, like all tutors but u called him Sockpuppet!) about the other users who you listed as my Sockpuppet i have no idea! this is how u welcome people in your Free Encylopedia and thank them. What a Great Welcoming! --ސ ޚ ލ ٰ ا (talk) 12:13, 4 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.
i know, i should using template of same ip with User:S.Haboush. but it's not really necessary when both are busy on editing, i have no Sockpuppet i don't need it, i just wanted someone to help me who sit beside me in real world, so he created his account cz he interested to editing. i am 7 years here in wikipedias. this block is not reasonable, i have no idea who are they listed as my Sockpuppets (maybe cz i use vpn for unblocking, i think you know there is many websties blocked for me as a middle eastern internet user) i just know one of them, using same ip is not Sockpuppeting! many ppl like to edit with their friends here. many ppl are family members here. i had this issue in FaWiki before and i am not that kind of users. i just wanna back to editing as all the other users. i am here to help not this stuffs about Sockpuppets. i am making useful contributions right now, u can see my history of contributions. --ސ ޚ ލ ٰ ا (talk) 12:54, 4 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
i am saying again, i have no Sockpuppet and i don't know what i going on really, i am tired , i am tired of this policies that invade privacy of users and don't respect user's contributions. i am 7 years here, i know enough about polices, i am just started making new articles in EnWiki. actually, i am a FaWikiquote user. --ސ ޚ ލ ٰ ا (talk) 13:02, 4 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
i hope i can back to editing, i wanna make new articles, i did nothing, i have no sockpuppet. i just want editing and share, User:Morganfitzp also helping me. --ސ ޚ ލ ٰ ا (talk) 14:34, 4 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
i wish someone helps me. i did nothing but a japanese admin blocked me. --ސ ޚ ލ ٰ ا (talk) 12:29, 5 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
@Yamla: hello?--ސ ޚ ލ ٰ ا (talk) 17:04, 8 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
i give back my request to review this blocking for two reason: no admin cared about it and, seems its no way to ublcoking me and its right. at all, i am a middle eastern user, you don't need me. " death of a Mirab/Water-master don't make town waterless"!~a persian proverb. (Mirab=, a person whose job is to regulate the flow of a small river in a farming area so that each farm gets its share of water. ) so, blocking one user don't impact EnWiki. --ސ ޚ ލ ٰ ا (talk) 23:48, 8 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

@Yamla: i say again, i have no idea about this people who are listed as my sockpuppets (i just know one of them, user:S.Haboush). as a dead user, i have no right to complain about what is going on about me and look likes i have no right and everyone can insult me in this wikipedia. but i hope i can back to editing and i think "that the block is no longer needed because you understand what you are blocked for, you will not do it again and you will make good changes instead." you right, i am don. --ސ ޚ ލ ٰ ا (talk) 20:41, 12 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Yamla (talk) 12:34, 4 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

I need help edit

I am blocked unfairly and i need help, i hope someone helps me cz i can't talk like judges (formally, standard and legally lang) in English. --ސ ޚ ލ ٰ ا (talk) 20:47, 12 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

i prefer an american, (or canadian, australian, british) or any user from same region with me (middle east and north africa) , show up and helps me. --ސ ޚ ލ ٰ ا (talk) 20:49, 12 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
it's 8 days i blocked "indefinite" and no one tells me what is going on. you should respect users and realize that non-native speakers of english who are not very well in lang, are working hard and you should thank them not blocking them--ސ ޚ ލ ٰ ا (talk) 20:51, 12 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

You haven't asked for another unblock review. At one point, you say, "i just wanted someone to help me who sit beside me in real world, so he created his account cz he interested to editing". You say you have no sockpuppets, but then say you do in fact know S.Haboush (talk · contribs). Given that user has edited the same articles as you, that's probably a violation of WP:MEAT. You say your privacy has been violated, but... you don't say how it's been violated. But regardless, it's not me you have to convince. If you want someone to consider unblocking you, you need to make a request. WP:GAB explains how. I have reviewed your initial request. I declined your request because (at the time) it did not address the reasons for your block. If you want to be considered for unblock, you need to make a new request, and someone else will examine it. This was already explained to you, at the bottom of your unblock request. --Yamla (talk) 22:19, 12 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

@Yamla: be sensible and carefully about what you say about users. respect users not just in words. ok then, forget my story, truth dose not works here. ok, yea, i created anohter account by the name of S.Habboush. tell me what is wrong by having many accounts? is this a crime? and plz, can u say me why u made a list of sockpuppets for me while i am everytime saying I HAVE NO IDEA WHO THEY ARE, i just accept S.Habboush is my sockpuppet! --ސ ޚ ލ ٰ ا (talk) 00:25, 13 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
@Yamla: you confused wikipedia with social media . when i registered here, there was nothing about this stuffs. --ސ ޚ ލ ٰ ا (talk) 00:26, 13 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
Hi Chyah. Yes, you have done a few things in violation of Wikipedia's policies. Aside from creating extra accounts, you've taken a biased view against people who might be different from you. Looking over past edits, I see some actions that were homophobic and prejudiced against people of certain ethnic backgrounds or religious affiliations. Big non-no's on Wikipedia. You also did some good things here, and I personally appreciate some of your contributions. But ten bad deeds outweigh 100 good ones on Wikipedia. Good luck to you. Non-free rationale for File:Album Fi Shouq by Layal.png edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Album Fi Shouq by Layal.png. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

On 23 September 2017, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Layal Abboud, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Layal Abboud), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000.
