Topic ban violation edit

Chip3004, per your history of disruption, as outlined at this discussion, you aren't supposed to be doing recent change patrols. You've gone back to involving yourself in disputes on noticeboards that don't involve you and edit warring as a form of patrolling which has led to your recent block. Please reconsider your participation here if you would like to avoid further blocks; there are plenty of areas that need volunteer assistance that do not involved reverting vandalism, patrolling other editors and chiming in on discussion boards. Pinging @ToBeFree and Tamzin: as admins who previously warned you about such edits as an FYI. -- Ponyobons mots 19:56, 24 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

It's been a while. My full sympathies for what you do, Chip3004. I don't do many other things; we share a focus on patrolling and noticeboard work. There are a few exceptions at Alte Brücke (Frankfurt) and Fortifications of Frankfurt, but translating instead of writing from scratch was the best I could provide. Typo corrections, yeah. They drown in patrolling edits in my edit history; the rate of such changes is perhaps visible when filtering my dewiki contribution list for mainspace edits. That is, not much. With "limit=1000", they go back to 2015.
So in case my messages seem to come from someone who just has different interests in editing, that's not the case. I don't know about the others who have lectured you, but my lectures come from your own position. Including a big red edit warring warning from Oshwah I'll never forget.
There's one exception though. Special:Diff/1128739959? Whyyyyyyyyyyy ~ ToBeFree (talk) 23:17, 24 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
