Disambiguation link notification for January 10 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Coloradisaurus, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page La Rioja Province. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:07, 10 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Miosynechodus edit

Thanks for cleaning this up. Bubblesorg originally created the article and added it to the Hybodontiformes article. I was always suspicious about it given that it was based on such an ancient and obscure reference. Hemiauchenia (talk) 01:38, 22 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

I did not create the article, I did add to it but thats about it. I forgot who created the article, but I did buy the article that first mention Miosyenchodus to edit the wikipedia article--Bubblesorg (talk) 01:56, 22 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
If you have a copy of Deraniyagala (1969) you should post it online and link it to the wiki page. Carnoferox (talk) 02:18, 22 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

File:Enchoteuthis reconstruction.png edit

Thanks for uploading this fantastic reconstruction! I've now added it to Cephalopod size (which needs to be updated with respect to this genus). mgiganteus1 (talk) 20:20, 9 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Wikispecies edit

Hi Carnoferox, I noticed your contributions after a file move you requested on Commons. However, if you didn't know, there's a sister project of Wikipedia called Wikispecies, which is basically a species directory and thought you may be interested given you've made a couple of articles about species. This is just a suggestion btw, so nothing's a must. SHB2000 (talk) 23:14, 16 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of List of retracted paleontology papers edit

The article List of retracted paleontology papers has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:LISTN. Primary sources, no indication that the subject of "retracted paleontology papers" as a group is regularly commented upon by independent reliable sources.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Fram (talk) 08:24, 22 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

I have added independent sources discussing these retractions to the page. Carnoferox (talk) 19:28, 22 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

List of retracted paleontology papers moved to draftspace edit

Hi Carnoferox, I am now moving this article into draftspace. I agree with RandyKitty that there is a requirement to demonstrate WP:GNG adherence, by providing at least two good sources that treat the topic as a unit. One already came up in the discussion (although it has not yet made it into the article) but we do need another. Please feel free to move this back into mainspace once one is found.
