Hi, if you are here to tell me about a BADNAC that I have caused, don't worry you're not the first. However you may want to know I don't attribute myself with any of the discussion pages not even in discussing anymore. So if you are here for those please feel free to revert any mistakes I may have caused without even noting me as I don't want to go back to discussion pages and screw up more for others. If you are here to contact me about other issues, I am active between 10:00 (UTC) and 22:00 (UTC). I archive this talk page after about a month or so.

Because I don't. "Kensuke Tanabe at E3 2013.JPG" needs to have the image re-uploaded with the two other people cropped out for Paper Mario: The Origami King. Wikiproject Video games Newsletter survey edit

Hello Captain Galaxy! I'm conducting a feature for the video games newsletter similar to that of a survey. I'm going to ask users their opinions on a specific matter and highlight unique and common answers to determine consensus on a subject. Your input would be very valuable, alongside others, to help answer this question.

The question is: How do you determine what makes a video game character notable enough for their own page? Do you follow pre-existing guidelines or have your own opinions on the matter?

Panini🥪 10:53, 16 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Panini! Thanks for asking for my input. Now while I'm not usually a person to create articles about characters, I was the creator of the draft for the Pauline (Nintendo) article. I created it when was still new to Wikipedia, so I wasn't the best at looking for citation. However, I felt that the character was deserving of an article due to her historical importance, being one of if not the first female video game character. I feel that, besides being notable with at least 4-5 independent references, a character needs to represent one of the following qualities:
I feel having these qualities (as well as having the references to back them up) are what makes character notable for having articles. Hope this is good for the newspaper. CaptainGalaxy 22:14, 16 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
Captain Galaxy, Thank you for your thoughts. Panini🥪 22:39, 16 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Chuggaaconroy's deleted page edit

Hello, Captain Galaxy, it’s PantheonRadiance. You may not remember me, but I helped a bit in working on Chuggaaconroy’s Wikipedia page, and I believe you thanked me for one of my edits on him a while back.

A couple weeks ago, I saw that Chuggaaconroy’s article needed to be updated, so I planned on adding more articles and citations on the page. Specifically, I wanted to include more information about the Runaway Guys on his page, from their formation in February 2011 to their Thrown Controller events they hold at conventions like Pax East, and their Colosseum charity events for Direct Relief. Since the Runaway Guys information was relatively sparse in comparison to other YouTubers, I figured that their information could merge with Chuggaaconroy’s page such that anyone who searches them on Wikipedia would be redirected to his own page.

However, I never got the chance to do this. A few days ago when I checked the Wikipedia page it seemed that the article was deleted due to there not being a solid case for Chuggaaconroy’s notability. I didn’t have the chance to contest this deletion before several admins reached a consensus. So after researching how to contest a deleted article, I’m planning on gathering a few other sources to present a case on why his article should be restored. Since I saw that you also helped with the article, I wanted to ask if you would like to help me restore Chuggaaconroy's webpage, if you have the time. I also wanted to revamp the page by fixing several mistakes on it, namely minimizing primary sources and adding a “Reception/Legacy” section on it. If you wish to also help me revamp it, I do have a rough outline along with new articles mentioning Chugga as well. If not, I understand; thanks in advance anyway.

Sincerely,

PantheonRadiance

Proposed deletion of File:Lego Super Mario.jpg edit

The file File:Lego Super Mario.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unused. Superseded by File:Lego Super Mario.svg.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 10:56, 26 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Probably not right now. We've only just had a second game in the series announced and to create an article about a series, you'd need coverage/commentary on the overall series and not just individual entries.
