December 2014 edit

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to List of unaccredited institutions of higher education may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
 • * Atlanta University, Nigeria (not be confused with University of Atlanta, Clark Atlanta University or the [[Atlanta

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 17:08, 19 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Contest this speedy deletion, which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. Citation style edit

Please read WP:CITE. The numbers you see should lead a reader to the reference when you click on them, and are added by the software when you cite properly. You can also use the menu bar above this edit window - click on the rightmost dropdown button and then the lefthand bottom one. Dougweller (talk) 17:38, 19 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

See your Commons talk page edit

3 of the images you uploaded to the Wikimedia Commons in 2014 appear to be non-public-domain works. You uploaded them as "own work," but they appear to be logos or insignia of educational institutions, which would almost certainly make them "work for hire" even if you did create them. Please use the Commons:Commons:OTRS process to resolve the issue or add sufficient information to the images' talk pages to prove that either they are out-of-copyright (e.g. first published back in the '70s or earlier without a (c) notice) or provide evidence that you are the rights-holder. For your convenience, here is a link to your Commons talk page: Commons:User talk:Cabdkc123.

I noticed that these images were not used in any English Wikipedia article. Had they been in use on an article they could have been uploaded to the English Wikipedia as official logos as a non-free content criteria-compliant non-free image. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 04:00, 3 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hi davidwr, I am confused as to why I am getting this message now. This was over a year ago when I first signed up to Wikipedia, so of course mistakes would be made as I was new to Wikipedia. Please feel free to delete photos or whatever you need to do to make sure it's within wikipedia guidelines. The article that these images were uploaded too are now deleted articles so this is a mute point. My apologize.

Thanks for you input and concern. God Bless LRappaport (talk) 04:45, 3 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
