College basketball

Hi there. I notice that you often change the links of bio leads from "college basketball" to "college basketball". One of the comments that always comes up is that non-American readers can't differentiate between NCAA-level sports and intramural sports. I'm not going to revert you, but could you try not to keep adding the college start (2020-present) in the infobox for notable high school players, preferably until August or September when they actually enroll? Basketball stat tables

I'm interested in stats for basketball players. When I add stats, I typically add a template for a legend, then use visual editor to copy and paste an Excel spreadsheet (which does require a little bit of cleanup. See User:Sphilbrick/Stats example

I am thinking about dropping the legend, and adding the abbr to the headings. I see you used {{NBA player statistics start}} As the first row of your table. See for example:

However, I don't see how to incorporate that template when using visual editor. Are you really creating all of the row entries manually? That seems like an enormous amount of work, and I much prefer the visual editor approach but haven't figured out how to incorporate headings with abbreviations.

Aleem Ford place of birth?

Hi - I see that you added a place of birth for Aleem Ford of Jersey City, NJ. What was the source of this? The two typical reliable sources for this are the college bio and the player's basketball-reference.com entry (which draws from NBA player registers). His Wisconsin bio does not list a birthplace and basketball-reference.com has Lawrenceville, GA (same as his "hometown"). Regarding David McCormack's birthday, specifically this edit summary, that tweet only verifies the date, not the year. Assuming the year, which I imagine you did based on when he graduated high school, is the definition of original research. People get held back, sometimes by the parents, sometimes because of grades. I personally graduated high school with multiple 19 year olds when most high school graduates are 17/18 years old. I even knew someone who would have graduated at 20 if they didn't drop out. Regarding Christian Braun's date of birth specifically this edit summary, that's a random Twitter account that cannot be used as a source, not to mention it runs into the same issue the David McCormack one did.
