 Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Sign your messages with four tildes (~~~~), be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Happy editing! Cheers, wizzito | say hello! 00:02, 2 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Paramount Global Content Licensing edit

Just a heads up that as part of the WP:BRD (Bold, Revert, Discuss process), I have started a move discussion on the article's talk page. I'm doing this as an example for both you and AdhiOK to see how such discussion to determine consensus can take place in a productive way without edit warring. Disambiguation link notification for March 26 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Paramount Music, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Michael Andrews. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. License tagging for File:Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2023 film logo.png edit

Thanks for uploading File:Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2023 film logo.png. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

June 2022 edit warring edit

Your recent editing history at Untitled Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. CreecregofLife (talk) 02:33, 1 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for edit warring and violating the three-revert rule. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Daniel Case (talk) 04:56, 1 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Your reason here Averyfunkydude23 (talk) 20:32, 16 July 2022 (UTC) I keep getting blocked, even though I am not the only one who is making edits for Untitled Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film without discussing with anyone. I'm just trying to keep the page accurate to the sources we have recieved, but certain editors (User:NoobMiester96 and User:ZX2006XZ), particularly involved with animation pages keep adding unsourced information. Request reason:

Your reason here Averyfunkydude23 (talk) 05:41, 18 August 2022 (UTC) I edit warred, and that was definetly wrong of me. But I have tried discussing with the editors on that page like, Noobmeister, through edit summaries or on their talk pages. I have even tried starting a disussion in the talk page on this article but they never want to communicate. The most recent edit of mine that kept being undone was me listing the film as 'American', and I explained that it was cause Point Grey is actually an american production company, and not canadian like it was previously believed. I even edited the Point Grey Pictures's page to reflect that, but they just undid it and I don't know why. But I I wasn't really making ay progress with how I tried to deal with the situation, so I understand my block. Could you at least please help solve this matter becuase it's been like this for months.Reply

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and

question regarding block edit

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who accepted the request.

Averyfunkydude23 (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

I was blocked for evading a partial block on a specific Wikipedia page. And then I was then told that I should make 500+ edits on other projects to prove I am trustworthy. Cool, makes sense. But how am I supposed to do that if I am still blocked (without an expiration date). I still want to contribute to Wikipedia, despite my past bad behaviour. What am I supposed to do?

Accept reason:

You are lucky that I blocked you , because very few other administrators would have considered unblocking under the present circumstances. You have been totally blocked for several weeks, and I am willing to let it go at that, on the basis of your assurance that you won't evade the partial block again. However, be warned that if you are found to have evaded it again, you are likely to be fully blocked again, his time with far less likelihood of getting unblocked, so make sure you stick to what you have said you will do. Speedy deletion nomination of File:John Wick Chapter 4 poster.jpg edit

A tag has been placed on File:John Wick Chapter 4 poster.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused duplicate or lower-quality copy of another file on Wikipedia having the same file format, and all inward links have been updated.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. — Mdaniels5757 (talk • contribs) 15:59, 13 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
