Editing with a possible conflict of interest edit

  Hello, Arjanhalili. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you.--SamHolt6 (talk) 23:23, 18 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hello, SamHolt6. Thank you for your message. As a new member in a world of Wikipedia, since I opened my account I have only tried to read and learn as much as I can about writing and acting in such a large community.

These points you mentioned above I came across and read that it is not good to write about someone with a conflict of interest. The reason I wrote about Dejzi is because she was selected to attend the globally influential fashion week in Harbin, China 2018 among more than 120 countries around the world, our state has never been represented by anyone before at this event and this is the first time they have selected an artist from Kosovo. Although a young artist in her state of living, she is highly esteemed for the dignified representation she has made at this event. Thank you again for the help and all the contributions to the Wikipedia community.--Arjanhalili (talk) 00:47, 19 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

@Arjanhalili: Ok, but you did not address my question about having a potential COI. For example, how did you gain access to this image of the subject? SamHolt6 (talk) 13:47, 19 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

Sockpuppet investigation edit

A sockpuppet investigation (WP:SPI) concerning your account is underway at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Arjanhalili. You are invited to participate. SamHolt6 (talk) 21:51, 9 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hello SamHolt6, first of all I hope you and all community are doing well and keeping safe during this pandemic time that has troubled the whole world.

I was very busy with some projects during this time and now I decided to sit and write about the messages I saw.

The first thing I want to write is about “Sockpuppet”, I understand the concern of all those who contribute to this community about these things where people try in many ways to achieve what they want by causing problems to someone else, as in this case me. I do not know the names you have mentioned, nor do I have any connection with them, as Clerk has confirmed.

The other thing you asked me was how I got access to the photo in the article, I am a digital artist and I also like to take pictures sometimes, I just know the person for the reasons I wrote above and that is exactly what encouraged me to to write and with this to start working as a beginner in wikipedia.

Another thing, just now I understand that an article can be moved by anyone on wikipedia so I haven't done that never, everytime I changed something I pressed the resubmit button to review the article.

In the end, anyone can be a beginner and everyone has to start with something, after all I'm not committing a crime I wrote this article :), I'll just try to make the changes as required and resubmit the article back for review . Thank you--Arjanhalili (talk) 19:13, 4 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

May 2020 edit

  Hello, I'm Mr.Sarcastic. I wanted to let you know that one of your recent contributions —specifically this edit to Ledri Vula— has been undone because it appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help desk. Thank you. Mr.Sarcastic (talk) 15:23, 13 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hello Mr.Sarcastic I just saw that a lot of people had external links in their articles and for that I added them without having a specific purpose. Thank you for your advice--Arjanhalili (talk) 16:37, 13 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
