On my talk page archive 1, a very long time ago I was accidentally outed by a new user. I have removed the comments and would like the comments revdelled if possible. https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk%3AAloha27%2Farchive1&type=revision&diff=929071352&oldid=760840451 Thank you for your time.   Aloha27  talk  14:22, 3 December 2019 (UTC)[]

Barra Strait Bridge is now working (after being broken for three weeks)Edit

The Barra Strait Bridge is now operating for marine traffic (as of 2020-07-17 15:59 UTC). See you on the lake. Ken Heaton (talk) 16:50, 17 July 2020 (UTC)[]

Re: Yacht Club Burgee Reverting unexplained content removal (Yacht club)Edit

Why not. I agree it's my opinion, but it's as good as yours. I had inserted the burgee of the Royal Cork Yacht Club precisely because it was the example of the burgee of the oldest yacht club in the world, if we leave the Barrachois Harbor Yacht Club, founded in 1996, why can't we put any more? Regards.--Ceppicone (talk) 16:42, 2 September 2020 (UTC) PS: Sorry for my english.[]

Nobody prevents us from making the same examples in different articles, if we do not want to use the burgee of the Royal Cork Yacht Club, we could use that of a more important club, I don't know, one at random: Yacht Club Santo Stefano, founded in 1960, a small Italian representation, or something else. PS: I know but Neva Yacht Club has a very special out of the standard burgee. PPS: the infobox in Barrachois Harbour Yacht Club is incorrect. Regards.--Ceppicone (talk) 18:42, 2 September 2020 (UTC)[]
I added the burgee of Compagnia della Vela, one of the most important clubs in Europe. For any clarification we can talk about it here without problems. Thank you. Regards.--Ceppicone (talk) 15:57, 3 September 2020 (UTC)[]

January 2021Edit

Hello, Aloha27, this is in response to the message you left me about my correction to "Libra". I thought the date of the foundation fo Rome is common knowledge: April 21, 753 BC. Do I really need to quote a source? If I were you, I would worry more about the inaccuracy posted about Rome being a Libra. I am a Libra, and as stated in the entry, care greatly about Justice. Hence: I corrected the mistake and it is the first time I receive what I consider negative feedback. Make the correction, or let the misstatement stand, since you seem to have the power to; it will be guidance in potential future corrections I may or may not make. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.89.107.15 (talk) 09:40, 11 January 2021 (UTC)[]

WarningEdit

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Dawn Wells; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. IceFrappe (talk) 13:04, 15 January 2021 (UTC) []

Hehehe. Too funny. I directed the user to take it to the talk page of the article here as the issue had already been discussed. He/she hasn't taken said advice at this point in time.   Aloha27  talk  13:19, 15 January 2021 (UTC)[]
This is simply a CYA move by the editor in response to here and here   Aloha27  talk  16:24, 15 January 2021 (UTC)[]

You removed the correction I made about the TurboTrain rail speed record. I wish I was better at computers but I am old and don't understand the reference technique. My comment about the record belonging to TGV 001 is common knowledge. You can google it or look into wikipedia. You prefer erroneous statements on wikipedia. It is your choice, not mine.

Editing logged outEdit

Is this you editing logged out? If so, it might be an idea to include diffs to support your argument. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 10:38, 20 February 2021 (UTC)[]

@Ritchie333: Nope, not me editing while logged out. I've never done that. Thanks for the heads-up!   Aloha27  talk  12:53, 20 February 2021 (UTC)[]
Okay, that's vandalism then. If they do that again, I'll block them. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 13:13, 20 February 2021 (UTC)[]
@Ritchie333: What I find puzzling is this edit. Did the IP hijack User:HJ Mitchell's account? This IP isn't a newbie IMO, knows WAY too much about the workings of the project.  Aloha27  talk  13:22, 20 February 2021 (UTC)[]
No, that's just impersonating someone else. They may just be copying and pasting text; perhaps they have been blocked by Harry for vandalism from another IP, which is plausible. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 13:32, 20 February 2021 (UTC)[]

@Ritchie333: IP has been blocked for 48 hours by User:PhilKnight Have a good day.   Aloha27  talk  15:27, 20 February 2021 (UTC)[]
