AfroCine: Join us for the Months of African Cinema in October!

AfroCine: The Months of African Cinema Continues….

Greetings!

Thank you very much for signing up to participate in the Months of African Cinema global contest/edit-a-thon, and thank you for your contributions so far.

It is already the middle of the contest and a lot have been achieved already! We have been able to get over 200 articles created in over seven (7) languages! The figures soars to up to a thousand, if Wikidata entries are included. Furthermore, there have been about 5 in-person gatherings of Wikipedians in different countries across the world to create articles about African(a) cinema!

I have declined the speedy as there is a credible indication of significance. However, I note that this appears to be a word for word translation of the French article. You'll have noticed that I moved your article on Naima Moujahid into your userspace. This is because, although you listed sources, they're not really adequate: Rways-Biographie has two short paragraphs, and Spotify cannot be considered independent because it's what Ms Moujahid says about herself and Spotify has a financial interest in having her be better known.
