Welcome! edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I greatly appreciate your constructive edits on Wikipedia. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages you might like to see:

You are welcome to continue editing without logging in, but many editors recommend that you create an account. Doing so is free, requires no personal information, and provides several benefits, such as the ability to create articles. For a full outline and explanation of the benefits that come with creating an account, please see this page. If you edit without a username, your IP address (80.111.44.144) is used to identify you instead.

In any case, I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your comments on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your IP address (or username if you're logged in) and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}} before the question on this page.

Again, welcome! KillerChihuahua 15:59, 17 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

Gulag Archipelago edit

Thanks for bringing up the older history of WP:EW on the article prior to this week. Just as a courtesy I wanted to let you know this could become a discussion in WP:AN/EW if the pattern continues. Not saying you've misbehaved, just a caution. Note, it is possible the article needs to be reverted to point further back in history if you think that is appropriate do so, but I would not make more than minor changes until a WP:Consensus has been reached on the talk page, thanks. 2604:2000:8FC0:4:617F:E9A7:AF1C:4546 (talk) 21:34, 18 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

No edit war please edit

You can't remove the entire section without giving any eligible reason in your edit log. Please ask yourself if the edition is necessary. If you are constructive, you will be welcome. Thank you. --Flag4567 (talk) 01:24, 22 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

September 2019 edit

Your recent editing history at Otto Warmbier shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing →   Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! feminist (talk) 13:24, 22 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia, as you did at Band in China. SanAnMan (talk) 12:03, 31 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

May 2020 edit

Hello, I'm Walter Görlitz. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, In the Bleak Midwinter, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Walter Görlitz (talk) 05:15, 12 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Joseph2302. I noticed that you recently removed content from Dagmar Burešová without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks.
