Gallery issue and commons copyright issue

Hi Олег

I have removed the gallery from Julia Dolgorukova - I presume you inserted it. Please read WP:GALLERY; in short, commons is designed to display sets of images; galleries should be used on wikipedia article pages only in limited circumstances. I do not see that the Julia Dolgorukova is one of those; it's merely an indiscriminate collection of her work.

There is the same problem with Aida Hanemayer (Lisenkova). I have not (yet) removed the gallery, but will do soon. There is also a problem on commons with all of the Aida Hanemayer images - they *really* need an OTRS note saying that the artist has licenced them, in the same way that Julia Dolgorukova's images hve an OTRS note. If that is not provided, they will, I think, all be deleted. I presume you are in a position to get that done, as the images were uploaded at much the same time as you created the article. --Tagishsimon (talk) 14:14, 17 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

  • Thank You, Tagishsimon. I think you're mistaken. Many articles about artists have galleries. That's right. Look, for example, «Andy Warhol» is a complete great article. We should strive for perfection in our articles. With respect, Олег Черкасский (talk) 19:59, 17 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hello Олег Черкасский. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Олег Черкасский. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Олег Черкасский|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. GPL93 (talk) 20:55, 30 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Dear colleague GPL93 (talk)! Thank you for paying attention to my humble person. I work at a high-paying job in the state organization "Mosconcert". I don't need to pay for articles. My wife and I own an apartment in Moscow, a house near Moscow and an apartment in Turkey on the Mediterranean coast. The woman about whom the article is written, I have never seen or met. I can provide evidence, for example, a certificate of ownership of an apartment in Turkey and a certificate from Mosconcert that I work here. My average salary is 110,000 rubles a month. Write what you need and I will provide it. Best wishes Олег Черкасский (talk) 07:47, 1 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
Hi dear GPL93 ))) I work at the State budgetary Institution of culture of the city of Moscow «Mosconcert»)))Олег Черкасский (talk) 09:29, 1 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
If the link has been read, I hide it.Олег Черкасский (talk) 09:12, 2 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
Well, then you've definitely violated both WP:PAID and WP:COI given that you created the Wikipedia article for your employer. GPL93 (talk) 20:45, 2 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
  • Strange. Who is my employer? Nobody pays me for the article. In Russia, no one pays for it. I am very surprised. Where is my money? ))))Олег Черкасский (talk) 22:43, 2 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
If you work for Mosconcert, then creating an article on it is a very clear violation of COI. GPL93 (talk) 22:46, 2 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
    • So, do you agree that you falsely accused me of receiving money from a woman about whom I wrote an article? I can confirm under oath that I have never seen or met her before.Олег Черкасский (talk) 22:49, 2 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
      • Mosconcert is a very old organization, it is the history of Russian culture. I did a Google translation of the article, but no one pays me any money for it. This is a budget organization, there are no such items of expenditure in it. This is not a commercial organization, this is a state cultural institution!Олег Черкасский (talk) 22:53, 2 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
        • I do not know how in the West, but in Russia only idiots can make such accusations. If I joined an organization, it means that I can write about culture and history better than anyone else. No one argues with this in Russia and the idea of paying in cultural institutions does not even arise.Олег Черкасский (talk) 22:57, 2 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
Well to start. Whether or not the subject of an organization is a commercial one doesn't matter when it comes to COI. It still needs to be disclosed and policies need to be followed and you need to refrain from editing directly in the main space about it. Additionally, promotional drafts on both Ksenia Svarovski ‎and Katrin Klimova were deleted by Athaenara just about 2 weeks ago under WP:G11. Do you have any connection to that editor? GPL93 (talk) 23:38, 2 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
  • Is this an interrogation? This is the first time I've heard of an Athaenara editor. I repeat once again: wikipedia is my hobby, and I don't care if the article is deleted or not. I have never seen or met with the characters of the articles. I decided to try writing about bloggers. If it's a failed attempt, it doesn't matter. Someone else can write, and I will write about another subject. I'm flying to Turkey in a few days, so please don't bother me with strange questions anymore.Олег Черкасский (talk) 08:32, 3 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
Mosconcert – Is this an advertisement?Олег Черкасский (talk) 23:06, 2 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
By the way, I did not create a MOSCONCERT page in Russian. It was created by this man GennadyL in 2009. I just made a translation into English.Олег Черкасский (talk) 23:13, 2 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
I understood! Such articles are removed so that later they can offer paid editing to these people! There is such a practice in Russia, is it really the same in the United States? This is done by administrators, in Russia one of these has been figured out! Олег Черкасский (talk) 08:40, 3 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello. I never take money from my friends, artists, musicians and artists. Russians don't do that. Information about me: I am currently an individual entrepreneur. The income in June is 105,000 euros from the sale of my apartment, in July - 5,000 euros from real estate transactions, in August I start a project with my software. Writing Wikipedia articles is my hobby, which I have already given up. I haven't been writing new articles for 6 months. Please give me the opportunity to clear the article about Yulia Dolgorukova and others from possible advertising and I will end my existence on Wikipedia. Thanks. Олег Черкасский (talk) 07:25, 29 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
It is clear that you are deeply connected to the artist, Julia Dolgorukova (Yulia Dolgorukova), and likely the other artists you have created promotional articles for. You have access to Dolgorukova's financial records/receipts, photographic documentation, have access to her web-server dolgorukova.h1n.ru and have created a program to calculate the investment attractiveness of her paintings.[1] Netherzone (talk) 16:19, 29 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I never take money from my friends: artists, artists and musicians. Now I work as an individual entrepreneur. My areas are real estate and IT. Until now, I have worked for 20 years as an artist and choir conductor at the opera house, an IT specialist at a museum, an editor at a concert organization and an editor at a music publishing house. I have also been helping artists organize exhibitions for 30 years as a volunteer. These organizations are the Moscow Union of Artists, the Russian Professional Union of Artists, the Creative Union of Artists of Russia and the Association of Watercolor Painting. Decline reason:

This does not adequately address the concerns about paid editing. It might help if you would agree to abandon editing about artists and musicians and tell us what you will edit about instead. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 09:09, 3 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Hello! I have read and understand the Terms of Use and disclosure requirements for paid editing. I do not receive compensation for my edits. But the experience of writing articles helps me in my scientific work. I am an academician of art history in the field of contemporary art. I don't need the money. I can disclose my financial information: I receive a salary of 105,000 rubles from the state organization MOSCONCERT. I rent a country house for 54,000 rubles. Last year I earned 28,000 euros on the sale of real estate abroad. I'm going to write articles about artists and musicians on Wikipedia strictly according to the rules of wikipedia, I'll make sure there are no ads, I now have experience. I ask you to restore my account in the English Wikipedia. Олег Черкасский (talk) 08:29, 9 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

While I believe that you are not being paid to edit, I'm concerned by the general evasiveness regarding non-financial connections to Julia Dolgorukova and the subjects of other articles you have created or edited and am unconvinced that you would refrain from editing topics to the benefit of your associates. signed, Rosguill talk 00:07, 22 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
