"Talk to Wiki" is a Wikipedia User Script in open beta. It allows for voice-activated functionality and navigation of Wikipedia. (Note: I know "Wiki" and "Wikipedia" are different things, but "Talk to Wikipedia" doesn't have the same ring to it.)

The source can be found here, but the ongoing version that I'm editing can be found here, on Test Wiki.

Installation edit

Visit your common.js page and type the following:

importScript('User:WikiMacaroons/talktowiki.js');

Then reload your cache, and give your browser access to your microphone. I'll put here later how you can access earlier versions, but at the moment, there are no earlier versions.

Usage edit

As it stands, Talk to Wiki is in Beta 1.0, so very few commands are available. Here is the current list:

Mobile edit

A note to mobile users: This script will not work on mobile mode, and may not work if you're on desktop mode on a phone. Give it a try anyway.
