I reside in Pullman, Washington where I am working on my Master's Degree in Anthropology at Washington State University.

I spent my first ten years out of high school pursuing a career in the railroad industry. I spent my summer vacations from 1994 through 1997 working for the Black Hills Central Railroad as a locomotive fireman and mechanic. I then spent several years (1997 through 2003 ) in the employ of the Union Pacific Railroad as a Manager of Locomotive Maintenance (Pocatello, Idaho and Hermiston, Oregon ).

I then elected to make a career change and in 2003, I returned to college at Central Washington University in Ellensburg, Washington . I graduated with a B.Sc. in Anthropology (specializing in archaeology ). In the Fall of 2005 , I applied and was accepted into graduate school at Washington State University .

I specialize in zooarchaeology and i'm interested in the utilization of fauna by prehistoric populations within the Northern Great Plains . I'm particularly interested in the interactions of prehistoric populations and faunal resources during the Altithermal period. I'm also interested in petroglyphs of Eastern Montana and Eastern Wyoming .

As a hobby, I research and study the history of the Byzantine Empire as well as the Roman Republic . I am also a licensed amateur radio operator: KD7ZST.
