Welcome to the page dedicated to the formation of Wikimedia Philippines, the local chapter of the Wikimedia Foundation serving the Philippines. As of this time, this is still in the very start of the planning and discussion stages.
Wikimedia Philippines is proposed to be organized as a non-profit, non-stock charitable foundation duly registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission and organized under the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.

Present regulations require at least five incorporators who are Filipino citizens of legal age (if you are of legal age, place a star (*) beside your name). A list of participants shall be placed inside the Articles of Incorporation.
How to contribute edit
- Discuss on what types of projects Wikimedia Philippines will undertake:
- Establishment, organization and incorporation of the foundation
- Drafting of needed documents per the requirements of the SEC
- Articles of Incorporation
- By-laws
- Registration of a Philippine Wikimedia domain (e.g. www.wikimedia.org.ph)
- Promotion of Wikimedia projects in the classroom (existing proposal; see User:Nino Gonzales/TTT)
- Establishment of Wikimedia projects in other Philippine languages:
- Existing languages: Tagalog, Cebuano, Ilocano, Kapampangan, Waray, Pangasinan, Zamboanga Chavacano
- Proposed languages: Kinaray-a, Hiligaynon
- Coordination of meet-ups
- Resources on organizing corporations:
