Hey it's me: Sir Furboy. I made my first edit to Wikipedia (a typo fix) so long ago I cannot remember when it was and in January 2006 I created this account. However most of my edits were small and anonymous because I usually wanted to fix something quickly as I was reading up on it, and thus rarely logged in.

Then I found a page that I knew something about and that was suffering from neglect. So I actually began adding substantive information. Thus I made an account and started a watchlist and now only (intentionally) edit when logged in.

I am a Computer Scientist by background but have a wide range of interests and hobbies (yes, surfing is one, although I have less time for it these days). I live in Aberystwyth, Wales. I read widely, and can be found on Goodreads and LibraryThing, talking pretentiously about books.

Comments should go to my talk page.
