Who am I edit

I live near Shelbyville, Kentucky, USA, where I have lived since 2008. I've been in all 50 United States, Canada, Mexico, Japan and South Korea.

I have been a railroad modeler and railfan since 1969. There was some tinplate and Lionel experience before that dating back to 1961. And train watching dating back to 1959. I started writing railroad history in 2005. As of August 2011 I have authored a book, contributed to two books, authored several historical society articles and donated thousands of rail images to a Texas Library. Annually I participate in the Cotton Belt Symposium in Commerce, Texas. I am a member of the Cotton Belt Rail Historical Society-Cotton Belt Chapter and the Southern Pacific Historical and Technical Society. My latest article about Cotton Belt FT locomotives is in the Summer 2016 edition of SP Trainline. Another two historical books are in the works. Ed in Kentucky SSW9389 16:03, 12 March 2017 (UTC)
