Hi, I used to work at the British Museum as the Head of Web. I got involved with Wikipedia when the Museum hosted the first ever Wikipedian-in-Residence project, with Witty lama as the inaugural resident. I've helped people at the Museum and in the wider cultural sector understand and celebrate Wikipedia since then.

See Wikipedia:GLAM/BM for more info about that project and the Backstage Pass event.

I also made this page, with information about films shot at the British Museum. User:Matthewcock/List_of_films_shot_at_the_British_Museum

I now work at VocalEyes, which helps UK arts organisations identify and remove barriers to access and inclusion for blind and partially sighted people. Over time, VocalEyes is donating audio files of audio descriptions from its London Beyond Sight project.

For being the first person in the world to have the courage and interest to allow Wikipedia to come in-house officially in the GLAM sector - you deserve this most. Witty Lama 00:17, 28 June 2010 (UTC)
I agree Matthew, great work by Liam, but you decided to stand up and be counted. I feel that this has been a turning point we can all put on our CV, but it was your courage. Well done Victuallers (talk) 09:12, 28 June 2010 (UTC)
