The English Language in Mexico edit

English in Mexico makes reference to the knowledge of English in Mexico. Through the border that Mexico has with the United States and Honduras that serves as an important source for the teaching of English in Mexican society, the truth is that Mexico, has been a nation connected to the knowledge to English for as part of its history. English is the fourth most spoken language in Mexico (after Spanish, Nahuatl, and Yucatec Maya) and today is estimated to have 500,000 speakers. In spite of the existence of native speakers in the country, English does not have the status as an official language, but the teaching of English is still required educationally.

Mexico is home to high levels of understanding of English within Latin America. However, too many schools it happens to be the only place where languages are learned. Linettes99 (talk) 21:01, 6 May 2019 (UTC)
