Jose Luis Ochoa P. (b. 1978) is a Mexican Engineer. He is currently overstaying at the D.Sc. program at CINVESTAV, Mexico (too many years!). He also obtained the M.Sc. degree form the same institution, and have an Electronic Engineering degree form the Veracruz Technology Institute. His areas of study are: delta-sigma modulators, neural networks, FGMOS, digital electronic design, programming and computer interfaces. He imparted the Instrumentation II class at the Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Superior School of the National Polytechnic Institute, and also taught the Intelligent Control II and Automotive Actuators classes at the UPIITA school of the National Polytechnic Institute.
Mr. Ochoa learned to program with BASIC at 8 in an IBM PS/2 Model 25. He continues programming in C, C++, C#, Python, VB.net and some other languages. He also codes for embedded systems in C and assemblers.
Mr. Ochoa is also a hobby traditional and digital artist, focused on manga, cartoons and comics. Check his gallery at deviantArt. He is also a relatively good drummer and a beginner playing the sax, bass and guitar, and enjoys inline skating and photography. Lately he also likes doing some type design.
