Matthew Ryan Kleinmann is an American community developer and politician. He is a Democratic candidate for U.S. Representative in Kansas's 2nd congressional district.

editDuring his undergraduate studies at Kansas University, Kleinmann was invited to walk-on to the basketball team, earning a place on the team 2004-2009. He was a member of the 2008 NCAA National Championship team. KU won every game in which Kleinmann scored and he was affectionately given the nickname "Big Red" by Jayhawk fans.
