2015-2016: Becoming Eligible to vote in ArbCom elections edit

In 2015, EricEgo2012 became eligible to vote in the 2015 Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. EricEgo2012 was given the opportunity to participate and review the candidates' statements and later submit choices. Although the user later opted out of submitting any choices at all. The user also later participated in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections.

2017-2019: Hiatus and Return to Editing edit

After taking a break from editing during the 2017 year. During the 2017 year, the user was not invited to participate in voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections. EricEgo resumed duties as an editor and began making more editing contributions to Wikipedia in 2018. The user was eligible again to vote in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections and again in 2019 for the 2019 Arbitration Committee elections.

2020-present: New Decade of Editing edit

The user voted for the first time in the 2020 Arbitration Committee elections (during the COVID-19 pandemic).

In 2021, the user became an eligible voter in the 2021 elections for the Wikimedia Foundation Board of Trustees. Four seats were to be selected by a community vote. Twenty candidates from all over the world ran for seats.

In December 2021, the user was invited yet again to vote in the 2021 Arbitration Committee elections.

On August 24, 2022, the user voted in the 2022 elections for the Wikimedia Foundation Board Elections 2022.

On November 29, 2022, the user was invited yet another year to vote in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections.
