HomeToGo is a metasearch engine for vacation rentals. It currently aggregates over 11 million listings worldwide.[1] HomeToGo partners with major vacation rental sites like VRBO, TripAdvisor, HomeAway and Booking.com, allowing users to compare vacation rentals offers and prices across providers.

Company History edit

HomeToGo was founded in 2014 by Patrick Andrä, Wolfgang Heigl and Nils Regge. Heigl previously founded the German meta-search engine for flights Swoodoo, which was later acquired by KAYAK.[2] HomeToGo is based in Berlin.

In July 2015, the company closed its Series A funding round with EUR 6 million.[3] In April 2016 the company closed its round of Series B funding at $20 million USD. The round was led by Insight Venture Partners with participation from the previous backers DN Capital and Acton Capital Partners.[4] [5] [6] The size of the Series C investment in October 2017 wasn't disclosed.[7]

HomeToGo won the Travel Publisher of the Year Award 2016 for highest year-over-year growth from Affiliate Marketing Platform Commission Junction.[8]. In November 2017 the company was awarded the first place in the Gründerszene Growth Ranking 2015-2017 for Germany's highest year over year growth in revenue. [9].
