Steeplechase:

Golden Miller, Start Class, 1927-1957 won Cheltenham Gold cup 5 consecutive years, but less prestigious race then. Won it and Grand National same year. Those are all his starts, 6 races. Won 29 out of 52
Desert Orchid, Start Class,1979-2006 English Loved by fans. Rated 5th best National Hunt horse by Timeform. Won Cheltenham 1x, Irish Grand National 1x. Timeform rating 187.

Black Caviar, Australian, Start Class, Undefeated in 25 races, Born August 18, 2006, Retired. Timeform rating of 136
Makybe Diva, British-Australian, Class C, Timeform rating is 129. Retired in November 2005. can't find Date of Birth. 1999.
Zenyatta, Class C, Born 2004. Won 19 out of 20 starts.
Urban Sea, French, Start Class,1989-2009. Won France's most prestigious race. Known for importance as a world class broodmare.
Ruffian (horse), Start Class, 1972-1975. Won 10 consecutive races. Sired by Reviewer. Is 35 on List of the Top 100 U.S. Racehorses of the 20th Century.
Pretty Polly (horse). British, Start Class, 1901-1931. Won 15 consecutive races. 5th filly to win British TC. She was a Cluster mare.
Kincsem, Start Class, Mare, 19th century Foundational horse. 1874-1887. Won 54 of 54 starts. Foaled in Kisber, Hungary.

Dan Patch, (harnass racing) B Class,1896-1916. Standardbred pacer. A major celebrity when harness racing was one of the largest sports in the nation.
Sea Bird, French, Start Class, 1962-1973 Timeform rating was 145 remains second flat figure behind Frankel's rating of 147 awarded by that publication. Also important sire. Won 7 out of 8 starts.
St. Simon (horse), British,19th century, stud, Class C, 1881-1908 undefeated thoroughbred and one of the most successful sires in the history of thoroughbreds. Ranked 4th best racehorse of the 19th century in May 1886 by The Sporting Times.
Sunday Silence, B Class, Kentucky, stud, 31st top 100, won Kentucky Derby and Preakness, 1986-2002. Exported to Japan later. No. 31 on List of the Top 100 U.S. Racehorses of the 20th Century.
American Pharoah, FA Class, too early in his career to add? Stud career not finished. Has the best time in the Belmont next to Secretariat of any TC winner with 2:26:65 beating out Affirmed's time of 2:26:80.
Count Fleet, Class C, 1940-1973, won Belmont by 25 lengths. 6th TC champion. Ranked #5 on Top 100 Racehorses of the 20th Century. Hall of Fame. 21: 16-4-1.

Hambletonian 10 May 5, 1849 – 1876) was an American trotter and a founding sire of the Standardbred horse breed. The stallion was born in Sugar Loaf, New York on 5 May 1849. Hambletonian has been inducted into the Immortals category of the Harness Racing Hall of Fame
Justin Morgan Figure was a small bay stallion owned by Justin Morgan; he became the foundation sire of the Morgan horse breed. In 1796, Figure raced in a sweepstakes in Brookfield, Vermont, beating New York horses to win $50. That year, he was advertised at stud by Johnathan Shepard of Montpelier, who also raced him in several match races in which he did well. Figure became known as the "Justin Morgan horse."
