ello. My name is Michał Zięba. I was born in Poznań on January 13th 1982. Since then I have lived in several cities all over Poland, like Kostrzyn, Sopot, Toruń and Gdańsk. In 2007 I graduated in English Linquistics and at present I work as English Teacher. In the past I worked in many different places on many different positions. Today I live in Gdańsk, together with my fiance Paulina.
My real love (except for Paulina of course) are books written by J. R. R. Tolkien, which I got to know at the ago of 13. Since then I read The Lord of the Rings every year during summer holidays what resulted Tolkien's literature becoming the subject of my B.A. paper. Fortunately there are many Wikipedians who contribute in this toppic, co there is little work for me left and I can focus on my other interests.
I had grown up listening to the punk rock music what strongly influenced my present music taste. Punk rock is still my favourite genre but I also enjoy ska and reggae. My favourite bands include Analogs, Post Regiment, TZN Xenna, Oxymoron, Sham 69, Rancid and many, many more. As the subject of Polish punk rock is still not well developed at English Wikipedia I feel this is the place for my contributions. I started several articles about Polish bands and records and also organised toppics into categories, added a few infoboxes and navboxes.
Railways had always fascinated me before I began my serious interest in this matter. I enjoy Polish railways most of all, especially PKP locomotives, EMUs and DMUs. I trace news and information about railways in Poland, both state and private and try to be present at all the most important events connected with this issue, like fairs and exhibitions. I am fond of old railway stations, especially those no longer operational, their history and infrastructure. The subject of railways is really well covered throughout Wikipedia but there are few of us who can contribute about Poland. This is yet another place I feel needed. I contribute to Polish locomotives, railway stations and lines.
Occasionaly I contribute to any articles I feel my help is needed, what includes my home town of Sopot, Polish cinemas and history of Poland. I also like to trace recent changes in order to remove any signs of vandalism.
Political and religious views should not be, in my opinion, emphasised on user pages, as contributing one ought not to be guided by them. Therefore I will not present mine either.

About my job at Wikipedia

Punk Rock

I started with contributing in Polish punk rock toppic, mainly starting the articles about Polish punk rock bands and about Polish punk rock records. This toppic is still very poor developed on English Wiki, so, as time allowes me I am going to improve it with information on both existing and long non operating bands. I seek help from my country citizens well oriented in the toppic, so that together we could buil a complete and proffesional database of Polish punk rock.

My main task in English Wikipedia is developing and starting articles about Polish railways. I am taking care mostly about locomotives, railway lines and stations, especially ones located in Pomeranian Voivodship and Tricity. I contribute also in Polish railway companies.
