Hi. The Wikipedia:Why is Wikipedia losing contributors - Thinking about remedies page seems to be dying. Either people don't care, they have seen this kind of conversation fire up in the past, or there are not enough practical suggestions, or entrenched interests will not budge. One idea is to whittle this down dramatically and submit here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Wikipedia_Signpost/Newsroom/Opinion_desk I might adapt the discussion into an opinion.
