Hello, Fellow Wikipedians

I, Bcspro have been a member since September 2007. However, I have been interested in this site way before then and have made many edits before this time period.

The nature of my name is two fold. BCS-Pro infers that I am interested in the BCS and, while I do not claim to know everything, I do know a lot. However, I am also for the BCS and against any extreme playoff systems. Although I do watch March Madness, I believe it is not that special. If you look at many playoff results from the past you will seen many teams go down to the end who I believe did not deserve to be there. (e.g. the seven loss Arizona Cardinals in "Super Bowl" XLIII, and the 2006 Final Four with George Mason). How crazy although unlikely is it for a team to have a horrible regular season, win their conference tournament, and have a chance to play for a national championship?

Do not get me wrong I think a playoff would alleviate a lot of the problems, but it WILL NOT get a clear champion every year, nor will the BCS. No system is perfect. I LOVE the bowl games. Seeing the Buckeyes win in the 1997 Rose Bowl launched my love for the game.

I look forward to help Wikipedia increase in size and protect its image by preventing vandalism where ever I can. If you have any thoughts, feel free to leave a message on my Talk Page. Bcspro (talk) 19:55, 10 January 2008 (UTC) edited Bcspro (talk) 20:29, 28 November 2009 (UTC)
