The 2018 Rajyotsava Awards The awards were presented by the Chief Minister of the state, H.D. Kumaraswamy on the 29th November, 2018. The Rajyotsava Award is the second highest civilian decoration/award in the state of Karnataka. Awarded annually by the government of Karnataka, the ceremony saw 63 individuals being awarded for achievements in various fields.[1] The number was chosen to mark the 63rd anniversary of the formation of the State of Karnataka. The awards ceremony took place at the Ravindra Kalakshetra.
