Re-purposing this template edit

As you have removed the redirect to Template:WikiProject Microsoft Windows there are several articles which may have been affected by this. Please check Special:WhatLinksHere/Template:WikiProject Microsoft and replace any articles that do not apply to this project. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 13:04, 29 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Add subproject to banner edit

 |tf 4={{{halo|}}}
  |TF_4_LINK           = Wikipedia:WikiProject Halo
  |TF_4_NAME           = WikiProject Halo
  |TF_4_IMAGE          = Wikihalo.svg
  |TF_4_QUALITY        = yes
  |tf 4 importance     ={{{halo-importance}}}
  |TF_4_ASSESSMENT_CAT = Halo articles
  |TF_4_MAIN_CAT       = WikiProject Halo articles

Please add the subproject to the banner. This should be added directly below where |TF_3 ends.

  Not done: Sorry, but you need a consensus to add this task force to the template, and judging from Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Halo#Requested move 2, that consensus doesn't seem to be there. Also, for next time, you can use {{edit semi-protected}} for semi-protected pages - if you do that your request will be seen by more editors. it is already a subproject, it's just not listed on the banner. from what the WPCOUNCIL says, you don't need consensus of the subproject to sign it up to the banner. -- 70.24.250.26 (talk) 08:30, 21 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
It looks to me that WikiProject Halo is its own project rather than a subproject - but I'll leave the template unanswered for others to comment. Callanecc (talkcontribslogs) 10:39, 21 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
  •   Not done for now: WikiProject Halo is a WikiProject, not a Taskforce, thus should have its own banner, not a parameter in another project's banner. If it eventually becomes a taskforce of another project, the parameter can then be added to that Project's banner. Salvidrim! 00:45, 23 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
That's actually the condition of the discussion linked to at WPCOUNCIL, separate projects on the same banner, not taskforces. -- 70.24.250.26 (talk) 09:00, 24 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
Agree with Salvidrim (talk · contribs), since WP:XBOX and WP:HALO is not a task force of WikiProject Microsoft. BTW, I remove the Xbox WikiProject from the banner since it is now a task force of WP:VG, because Halo and Xbox projects is closer to WP:VG then WP:MSFT. If you wish to add project or task force, please discuss with the WikiProject or WT:VG and WikiProject Council. JJ98 (Talk) 21:56, 14 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
